Let me know if your after a TomTom, Tom :) I have the TomTom 500 available for £299.99 , and I have just sent my ex-demo TomTom 300 away for Factory refurbish and can let that go at a good discounted price when it returns (will come back as new, boxed, full manuals..etc) Will also have the new 510 and 910 in stock soon.

  5. Buddah did'nt come to japfest. Problem with his car the morning before I think. Glenn's went bang on the track. :( and Drivin Ivan has a slight incident with the tyre wall, but was a demon behind the wheel before that.
  6. The most common to wear are the Hicas bushes, but could be any of the rear arm bushes, but knocking is not a usual sympton if wear. Check your Rear subframe bushes and suspension mount bolts are tight.
  7. Prices are on Steve's (cybernet) site : http://www.powergatesolutions.co.uk/tc.htm
  8. Its a mini fan, with a temp sensor. Its for the Climate control. You need to take it apart and clean the fan.
  9. 5 of us (zed's) went last year from the UK(I did over 1200 miles during the weekend) and another 3 or 4 from Netherlands and only 1 zed had a problem, a cracked radiator end tank - and Air Temps were around 36 degrees C !
  10. You sure somebody is'nt messing with it ?
  11. Have you checked the support section on http://home.curl.aunz.net/tpkolo/DataScan.htm ? Have you definatly selected the correct port ? Do you have any other USB>Serial adaptors or external USB devices connected (Some GPS receivers cause problems)

  13. Congrats, I knew it had to win as soon as I set eyes on it on the stand.
  14. My temp very rarely gets to 81 degrees, and my ECU definatly goes into full warm mode before 80 degrees, with timing and rpm at normal levels...and thats the same for every car I have tested. I will try to note at what temp it does go into the normal running mode, but its quite a bit before 80 (prob more like 70)

Was that Good Morning or Good whoring ? ;) Im always online, secretly watching from that corner over there ------->
  17. ^^^^ What T-pot said. A new engine, and even more problems.....I feel for you bird :( (although granted the MAF is seperate from engine). p.s AFM/MAF problems will usually show as problems revving past the 2-3k problem, misfiring, mixture problems and general rough running.
  18. Thanks, talk about mixed opinions, perhaps they do just need the bodykit to go with it.....it will be widearch soon anyway :D Im still undecided though ! lol It may be a costly mistake :mac1: Not noticed arch rubbing yet, will check that tomorrow. Was worried about ride quality, but I did'nt need to be, its had no detremental affect and the missus had no complaints about ride either :) Slightly more tyre noise at speed, but not really noticable. No tramlining, dispite the 245 wide fronts and no more understeer when entering a bend/roundabout fast which was a problem with my old Nangkang fronts, and so far they seem to grip just as well as my Goodyear F1's :hyper:

I use this on my Machine (courtest of PK1) and its excellent !!
  20. Thanks. Now Im not sure wether to put em up for sale and cut my losses by selling them a bit cheaper than I got them :(...or to wait till I go Wide Arch, skirts, bumpers and then see if they work with the design. Love the dish, just not sure about the chunky spokes. They dont look 19" to me either, they are big, but just dont shout 19" on the car. :headvswal damn me and my impulse purchases
  21. Yes, UK cars come with the Electronic actualtor on top, and Jap shocks don't. Most ditch the adjustable Uk shocks and fit Jap or Aftermarket.
  22. cheers guys, now Im confused...am I the only one thats not sure about them ? LOL I like the actual wheels, just not sure about the Overall look with the them fitted on my zed. Suprised by how good the ride is with 19's though, no real noticable difference and Im very conscious of ride quality.
  23. Which model of Bridgestones ? The Japs use differenty tyres to us, and tend not to be EU rated and should'nt of made it through the Mot. In fact, they are absolutely useless on Uk roads, expecially in the wet!
