  1. If you have a KPH -> MPH speed convertor on your clocks, put the Speed gauge in KPH in datascan and it will read the correct MPH speed (even although it says KPH, thats the problem with Speed convertors - they also affect PAS and Hicas). Yep, sounds like Det sensor fault, Car will be in safety mode. Take her for a drive, and withtout turning ignition off, try it again.
  2. Sorry you could'nt make it Buddah, and absolutely gutted for you Glenn :( :(, it safely arrived at Southwestz about half an hour ago.

Im back home now, the party was still going when I left. Its pissing it down with rain, have fun camping lads
  5. Be carefull with the non branded Korean/china Screens that can be found on ebay, most use older Panasonic screen hardware and poor quality touchscreen overlays which reduce brightness and contrast.
  6. Minimum System Requirements: * 600 MHz Processor * 128 MB of RAM Recommended System Requirements: * 1GHz or faster * 256 MB of RAM or more You would'nt want to use a system lower spec than that for any CarPC. WinXp is'nt an absolute must, but I would reccomend it anyway for its stability, better support and software compatablity. I strip down and optimise each installation which improves performance and boot times, although most Carputers will be configured to start from Hibernation or Standby which provides you with your quick startup in XP.
  7. I have contacted the software developer about this also, waiting to hear back.

Generally 30-40 'ish. It depends on the width and design of the spokes. With a 45 you run risk of it touching the calipers, but can be solved with spacers. They will also sit in the arches quite a bit.
  14. Settings > Communications Make sure correct port is selected in Datascan
  15.  :x:
  16. A bit of action, and its not even Friday night. :nana2: Got to love ya Timmy ;) I'd like rare, RWD and Twin turbocharged please :D
  17. oooohhh..a personal attack, Im grumpy coz I dont like the same car you, nice     got what going exactly ? not Turbocharged or 4wd, all the others were earlier, and more successfull/popular.
  18. Swift GTi's are great, rare though. Clio 16v's was a great car, used to have one about 8 years ago. Overshadowed by the Williams, which left it comparably unknown (and its name did'nt help). Fast (136bhp) and handled well. Had an AX GT too for a short time, you dont really want one. Fun, but flimsey as hell would'nt want to have a smash in it and crap handling unless you lower it and fit bigger wheels...and it is "chavvy". A Mini ?
  19. PM's to admins/comittee members dont show as read, unless they deliberatly tell it too.
  20. Does nothing for me, hugely overhyped IMO. Any early £3k run-of-the-mill Scooby or Evo will run rings around it, and ofcourse they are a lot slower than a stock zed. Nasty plastic basic escort interiors, and what is basically a chavved up hatchback on the outside. There inherent problem is that they are based on a crap car to start off with. At least their image has improved. When the scooby became popular, the Cossie was your "poor essex boyracers" car, and the scooby was classy and expensive. Now its the opposite. Fantastic colour though !
  21. JAE (in july) is the one to be at :D Nobody with a zed should miss it!
