  1. Most just do without them, or relocate them to the back of the new steering wheel or mounted in dash somewhere. Do you have a pic, or know the make/model ?
  2. Welcome, Im afraid only subscribed members are allowed to post items for sale
  3. and you'd probably need 3 guages really. 1 for each turbo to see what boost they are producing, and 1 for the balance bar to see what pressure the engine is really getting.
  4. Pretty sure AA do full european cover Why Not? Ye of llittle faith ;) Seven of us took our Zeds through France and Belgium last year. 1200 miles, and in June there are a load of us taking our cars through europe to Germany, nurburgring for Z-run 2006 :hyper:
  5. Parked in Carpark near Jobcentre, Wednesday about 12pm
  6. from http://www.nipponauto.co.uk Sgt_C
  7. Thanks. Done. :)
  8. £5k of damage and they did'nt class it as a write off !? You are very very lucky. I've seen them written off for as little as a crack in rear bumper and bent exhaust tip only. Hicas light is probably just low power steering fliud, check that first, the Nissan dealer would of done a full check...and they found no other structual/mechanical damage ?
  9. Some good advice, although Airbags were only optional after 92, and a rare option and I would'nt worry too much about Differnet steering wheels and Bodykits, these are very popular upgrades on the 300zx and does not nessarily mean its been in an accident.
  10. I prefer the look of the pre-99 lights anyway. Aftermarket H.I.D's do me nicely.
  11. More than likely a Vacumn leak. Could also be blocked PCV valves, or various other minor servicable causes.

Disconnect battery....lots of theories on how long it will take from 20mins to a couple of hours. Holding Foot on Brake pedal for a minute after battery disconnected helps drain power from the circuits. I would Just disconnect now and leave it overnight You may experience a Higher idle rpm for a few miles, as the ECU goes into Self learn mode.
  13. Dont forget that Shipping, Duty and VAT is likely to add an extra £100 on that. You wont get them through marked as Gifts ;) ...and unfortunatly , with a Large Fibreglass item, handled by numerous people in various vehicles over many days, the risk of damage during shipping is high. :(
  14. Eibachs only lower by 0.8" (20mm) 19" with those tyre sizes will be fine. Alloy websites : http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=64816
  15. and nissan for each of the series different stock spoilers
  16. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=119 Hope that helps

  18. Looks lovely.
  19. Was it a for sale thread, I have'nt seen it, but if so then it would of been deleted as only subscribed members can post classifieds.
  20. I like Auto's, have owned plenty in the past. But sorry, would'nt have a Zed or any High Performance car with an Auto (and I have driven many Auto Zed's) Thats a very slow 0-60 for a car that does 0-100 in 9 secs......if those figures are correct then the slow launch is almost certaintly down to the autobox and the manual would be quicker! ;)
  21. Tbh..if its just basic servicing you want done - Plugs, Filters, oil..etc then anyone experienced around cars will be able to do it. Its not really any different. Its only when you get to the more complex tasks, like fault finding or major work thats its often best to use a specialist.
  22. Ecu
