Hicas Its 4ws but not perhaps the way you are thinking of it. Its a High speed Handling aid, not a parking aid. It works at speed, turning the rear wheels up to 1 degree, to improving turn-in. It behavior is controlled by computer, and monitors speed and steering wheel movement to determine the behaviour of the rear wheels, inducing the "rally flick" where it flicks the wheels in the opposite direction before turning back the other way, You rear hicas bushes need to be in good condition for it to work effectively. Decat/Turbo seals Without taking out engine, removing tubs and dismanting, no, not really. If its smoking at all now, or is on high mileage it may be too much of a risk. Most have no problems at all, myself included ...others have had problems almost instantly.

Got mine from http://www.nipponauto.co.uk - £450'ish at the time. Fantastic quality, and a very nice bloke too :D
  4. Exactly the same contents as my TT in the NA however I found a hammer
  5. I've use it, on long motorway runs at night, when you just want to sit back and chill listening to music, set at 80mph for 1.5 hours and return 32mpg :D

Check out http://www.trackdays.co.uk May also be worth inviting the Zclub along. We have had Meets with 30+ attending in the South West when inviting the Zclub, so that would get the numbers up.
  7. Stock jspec cruise works 48 kph to 105 kph When you have a KPH-->MPH Convertor this will become 48mph to 105mph
  8. Yes, it should be tight and solid. You need to replace your gearshift bushes - cheap but fiddly
  9. Power does'nt affect syncro's, 4th gear uses a weaker syncro than the others, and can start to crunch with age when forced.....Go for a later 95 onwards box, Nissan fixed the 4th gear syncro in them. p.s Both my zed's manual gearbox's have perfect gearchange, with no crunching :p
  10. Thanks, not a bad site :) Trouble with zcentre's wheels is that most of them are £2k+ after vat :( Although the Mania Vortex's are nice, but Im leaning towards some sort of 5 spoke deep dish split rim style now.
  11. Jay http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/vbgarage.php?do=view&id=3020 Craig David http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/vbgarage.php?do=view&id=1848
  12. Well worth buying for the fitted audioNav Carputer though :D
  13. Bump...an old post, but Im ready to buy Any more websites ? Most wheel places dont seem to cater for zed fitements (including width) and/or dont show prices online.
  14. I would imagine it would be a bad connection on the Defi link unit, rather than the gauges themselves.
  15. If you have a MPH convertor it will work to around 110mph (as the Cruise control ecu still things its in KPH)

  20. Not sure about this poll......effectively crisicising other members zeds! :slap:
  21. Porches just dont do it for me, at all. But a Aston
  22. Yes, thats what I use : http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=70805&page=3&highlight=0-60mph You can also do 0-100, 60-100..etc or any tests you want. Uses your speed sensor, and ofcourse is timed by computer. As soon as car moves(or reaches slower speed limit) it starts timing, and automatically stops when it reaches the upper limit.
  23. 130 (or 100) is'nt low enough to prevent it running on that cylinder(but thats not a good sign, and would indicate rebuild time due) It will be a bad connction. Either coilpacks, injector connectors, PTU or ignition/injector harness(more than likely) in between. Try wiggling all the wires to see if it makes a difference. Also clean the connectors on coilpacks, injectors and PTU
  24. Hope you have a good one John David
