  1. Congrats, Sounds like Incorrect Speed convertor may have been fitted. Zcentre can supply a new one, simple to fit. (check tyre size as mentioned above first) Cruise wont work above 68mph on an Import. Common for Aircon to release its condensation, and appear as a leak, but do check to be sure.
  2. Looks like it will be a really nice example one sprayed. Quality retrim....what seats are those ?:
  3. here : http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=49150&highlight=throttle+mod BTW - Opinions are mixed on this. Some say the reason the valves dont open fully is becuase of the angle the Throttle pipes enter the throttle body at, meaning the stock vale opening is at the same angle as the intake pipes for best flow.
  4. It wont do anything. There is however a metal tab on the throttle linkages, that restricts the throttle valves opening fully. A forum search for "Throttle mod" should find plenty of info on it.
  5. Yes, but only noticable up close, if you were looking for a difference. IMO Greg'/Ztech's ex-zed WITHOUT 99 centre panel : Funksi's WITH 99spec centre

  7. Seen similar sleave-over springs falsely advertised as "coilovers" (coilovers are in fact fully adjustable struts with matching Springs). Would'nt touch them without finding out the spring rates first, and comparing to the more reputable brands.
  8. Common problem from overtightening onto plastic end tank. I would'nt risk repair, buy another (or koyo). If it leaks, and you overheat you'll risk serious damage. Damage to blocks/heads occur so easily with overheating on the VG, and the temp gauge is often useless, giving no warning.
  9. Some have had fitment issues with the ebay special replica downpipes..others haven't. You take your chances. or speak to Chris (greddy) about some original Megan pipes.
  10. Silver zed's suit the 99spec so well !
  11. A mean looking pair. Although that Front bumper needs sideskirts to look its best.
  12. Using Datscan this afternoon : 0-60mph : 4.78 secs 0-100mph : 11.97 secs ...with lots(too much) of wheelspin, and I changed gear just before 100mph :slap: so that can be improved on further. :nana2: Im well chuffed with that :D Manual TT. 14psi. 255 Goodyear F1's. Induction, Decat, catback (and 1 bov & 1 recirc..dont ask  )
  13. Screen shots of the Map Trace function. The software has data logging functionality.
  14. Fluid level is very sensitive, even if it only just under the full line, top it up. Dexron 3
  15. Yep, would'nt be blaming them, would be thanking them
  16. Laptop or Carputer required. Yes its a kind of mini conzult, similar functonality whereas Conzult leans towards the Workshop tool side, and this leans more towards the Real-time monitoring side.
  17. ^^ what he said. There is very minimal difference, certainly nothing noticable. As long as your centre panel is in good condition, ofcourse. If its faded and scratched then it will standout compared to the new 99specs.
  18. Its a Monitoring and Diagnostics tool.

  20. ahem...How about this clubs own Specialist Import Trader ! ;) Import-ance http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=122
  21. Induction kit can give off noise, as can a boost leak.
