  1. nope, both are legal, and both (laser detection and gps) are used in high spec modern detectors. The goverment has been trying to ban laser detection, leaving only GPS legal but they have'nt managed it yet.
  2. I believe the plan is that they will be ready to send out late June, but Steve will need to confirm this. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=52700 000810
  3. £5 for a cd containing copy and pastes from the "free" zed info websites
  4. Did your signature point to an image hosted externally ? If so, and the host goes down, or the image is removed, the sig will dissapear You should be able to find it under Quick Links > Edit signature If its not there then perhaps your subscription has expired, and needs to be renewed ? You can check here : http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/subscriptions.php?
  5. Um... HomePC Z_Carputer thats all it found.....boring names, but then I am at home and I'm the only one here, and the other devices are mine too lol
  6. Hicas Steering Arm, if you have free play, then you will either need new outer or inner hicas arm bushes.
  7. I've always used "Wonder wheels", that you brush on. Powerfull stuff.
  8. Its a 1995. From 95 onwards Nissan dropped the Boost gauge.
  9. Hi, yes its original/standard. On the bottom of the front and rear bumpers and all the way along the side of the car too. Its designed for protection against stonechips, but It ugly. The Effect is moulded into the stock bumpers and can be a lot of work to get rid off (most just fit aftermarket bumpers to get rid of that), but it can easily be sanded down from the sides/sills of the car and repainted.
  10. RiceRocketUK or Supercarparts should be able to help, but You'll probbaly need to contact them directly.
  11. 11b's are fine, they have a longer tip/thread and are recommended change for zed's running higher boost.
  12. Yep, absolutely Gatso's are never a major threat (except in the rare instances where they are partially hidden), and in fact what I have noticed recently is that in a few area's Gatso's have been removed (possibly through damage), and not replaced becuase the police have realised that can make more money with am occasional Mobile camera van at the location instead. :xxx:
  13. There is currently nothing illegal about Radar detectors in the UK
  14. Common problem with fibreglass parts unfortunatly. They will always require a certain degfree of work to get them to actually fit correctly.

  20. Are you not changing cambelt becuase its already been done, or because 60k service not due yet ?
  21. More than likely 15yr old worn shocks, springs and bushes, if they are original they will be WAY past there usefull life and your car (and most others on this forum) wont be handling anything like a zed should be. New suspension (even stock) makes a whole world of difference. Tyres also make the difference between a good handling car and poor handling car.
