  1. well..if its not a daily driver and you dont mind it being loud then definatly get the X-pipe....it sounds fantastic !! Thats the setup chunk had when he won best sounding exhaust at JAE 2005, and I followed him for about 3 days through most of france and belgium with my jaw dropped as the noise was incredible ! ..it was very loud though, I could tell every single little press/depress he made on the accelerator. p.s Chunks was made by Alunox
  2. There is somebody in the states making aftermarket versions
  3. It would certaintly cause overfuelling yes, which all yours symptons indicate, although not sure how much affect it would have...be interesting to see how well she runs when fixed.
  4. They never came with leather panels :(
  5. TPS is ok, but yep RH O2 sensor is buggered....check the connector and wire first
  6. The stock system uses a H pipe, and seems to be designed to reduce low rpm drone (2000-3000rpm is where you hear it the most) that the v6 suffers with whereas the X-pipe is going to be louder and better for performance.
  7. ok, yeh....looking again I would say blueish grey ;)
  8. pftt there so Common! LOL
  9. All the Alcantra's I've seen so far are in Uk cars, would be interested to know if anyone has a Jap that came with it as standard ? EDIT : Just realised thats not true as I know the Convertbles came with Alcantra
  10. Welcome :) The zed looks familiar but cant think who's it was
  11. Most of the ones on ebay are advertised 4wd
  12. Im bored and curious LOL , so which Interior trim did you Zed originally come with (just the door and dash panels...not the seats) - 1. Grey Tweed (most common - Series 1 cars) 2. Blue Tweed (rare option for Series 1 Saphire blue Z32's) 3. Black Tweed (Later series cars) 4. Blue Velour (series 2) 5. Grey Alcantra (series 2/3) Pics borrowed mostly from owners rides, hope they dont mind :)
  13. Yeh, definatly a major improvment over the horrible tweed. So there are 5 different interior panel trims then :- Grey Tweed (most common - Series 1 cars) Blue Tweed (rare option for Series 1 Saphire blue Z32's) Black Tweed (Later series cars) Blue Velour (series 2 Jap) Grey Alcantra (series 2/3 Jap & UK) Not to sure when the Velour and Alcrantra options are. I've seen the Velour in Jap series 2 cars, and the Suede in Series 2 UK cars I feel a poll coming on LOL
  14. ahhhh, I recognise that zed. Its Sasquatchi's ex's zed from Bristol. He spent a lot of money on that car before selling it to current sticker loving owner.
  15. Bump...any progress ?...I want/need that rear bumper! :D
  16. It will be the temp sender switch then on the coolant pipes causing the fan to come on, but that wont stop it starting. You need to work out if your missing spark or fuel. Pull out each coilpack and test them for spark
  17. where is clicking noise coming from ?
  18. elecric fan coming on would indicate either temp sender not connected or the ECU connector is'nt properly connected. The 1st wont really affect starting, the 2nd will. Have you checked for spark and/or fuel on each cylinder ?
  19. Look forward to hearing how the K-sports compare to the GTR setup
  20. TT Targa Kerb weights SWB - 3,414 Ibs (1548 kg) LWB - 3,495 Ibs (1585 kg) I believe standard method of weighing is with all fliuds, 1/4 tank of fuel and no driver. NA's weigh around 90kg less. Auto's weigh about 15kg more.
  21. Nope, no way o2 sensor can cause that. Did they just bypass the det sensor or did they replace it, as its a pretty major job to get to (£300-£400 job) and most opt for the bypass. If they replaced it then they may have damaged the EFI loom when disconnecting it to remove plenum, or they could possibly have got the injectors plugged in wrong order p.s If they are having trouble getting hold of one of the 02 sensors then its worth noting that both o2 sensors are the same, but are listed as different part numbers and one is more expensive than the other...but they are the same.
