Hi Mate, I have a RS5R30A from a Z32 Twin Turbo that would benefit from rebuild. It works fine with good syncro's but has a noisy bearing from being run briefly low on oil, possibly layshaft bearing. a Decent box will fetch £500, so I was looking for about £150 for it.

Hey Dave, You've been out in my NA Manual when I had her about a year ago and you were quite impressed I believe......however the performance difference between NA auto and NA manual is greater than the TT auto vs TT manual, and it is noticably slower.

opps, yes forgot that, you will need that too or the starter motor wont touch properly. The TT TQ and Ring gear are larger. I suppose you could just change the Bellhousing though with your NA one and use the TT ring gear and TQ.

Make sure you get the TT Torque convertor with it though

Yes, replace Cambelt, waterpump and themostat at same time. You will also need to replaced Rubber pipes (available from Nissan, MJP, SWZ..etc) for the Water inlet hoses as they should not be reused. - undo the 4 10mm bolts that hold fan to waterpump. - Each Pump has an adjuster which you can adjust to get pumps of (or just cut belts for now as you will want to replace them ideally anyway) - The cam covers require 6mm(?) Allen key - The metal water pipes require 6mm Allen key, a 12mm socket and long reach pliers to undo the metal clips - You will need a Pulley Remover to get the Crank pulley off (dont lose the little half moon chuck/key that comes off with it) There is probably a guide here somewhere....

That wont be where its leaking from, thats just where its dropping onto. The only 2 places it can leak above there is the Waterpump or the two MetalRubber inlet hoses that go underneath the cam covers.
