  1. posted on anothe lifters thread earlier today ;) - http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=technical&msg_id=917346
  2. Have driven in NA and TT form. Near Identical performance. NA Zed sounds better than NA Supra IMO (although TT supra sounds better than NA zed). Despite looking longer they are actually less praticle than the Zed with less rear leg room and a smaller boot. But the big downside for me was driving experience...perfectly nice to drive, but a bit on the dull side in comparison and definatly feels bigger and more cumbersome on the road. It also not as sure-footed on the road at higher speed. Paul@SWZ Performance owns both and feels the same way too. Looks - Not keen in standard trim, does look a bit newer and can look nice with the right subtle body changes. All comes down to which you prefer rather than one being better than the other IMO The Zed has an undeserved reliablity stigma attached to it, and Im sure if you ask the same question on the supra forum they will go on about how unreliable they think it is because there mate bought a rough example for peanuts and it broke down  Btw Si, was talking to a Mk4 Supra guy the other week who was taking the piss out of the Zed interior :nono: (and deservadly - the skyline interior) .
  3. MJP Easten Autos See Traders section. MJP is the Club authorised Trader for all Nissan OEM Products. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=42
  4. Which kit..the one at the start of thread, or the other one above ? The one at start of thread is just a 3D Computer generated Image, I've yet to see some real pics of it on a car yet.

not really any cheaper than Genuine Nissan parts...in fact Nissan parts cheaper if you buy directly from the states.

Have never used them, but what sort of deal have you been offered becuase genine Nissan Cambelt is only about £40 and the auxillery belts are less than £6 each
  7. Yes I have and 100% agree with you. I meant it as a bit of a pre-warning before seeing prices.
  8. nope, thats thinner and more of a curve.
  9. I dont believe any of our traders have ever supplied genunie strosek kits. Your best bet would be to speak to Strosek themselves (btw - Very expensive compared to the Various copies out there)
  10. Another - 450zxtt Nissan VH45de V8 Twin Turbo http://www.freewebs.com/axepower/ (with video)

  12. Thats stupid, the rules should apply to Standard Headlamps, but not cars with Projector style headlights. If you compare a regular vehicle headlight fitted with HID's and a Z32's project style headlight with HID's you will see the problem they mentioned with beam patterns for the regular style headlight but not with the Projector style headlamp.
  13. I think you get 2 in a pack so you can double check
  14. Mileage is'nt really an issue, its all down to Service history. Although since the engines produce a lot more power than VW's offerings, things are put under more stress and that leads to more wear, but still 100k is nothing. Turbo's are perhaps the first to go...generally anything from 80-120k, but there are those with much higher mileage than that on original tubs.
  15. I meant within the UK, there is definatly a belt variation which may indicate that there is a supplier out there for a Patten(non-oem) Seat belt unit. ...or it could just be that they they changed them in later years and thats why....just a thought
  16. oooh.....I see a pic of Zogg's car now...its like that is it
  17. Not a single picture of mine or Zogg's rides ! tut :nono:
  18. It was fitted to my Silver NA when I sold it :( Abi kept nagging at me to change it but I forgot...she really likes my knob too
  19. Have seen several belt/webbing variations on Zed's.....not sure if its just Changed throughout years or if there is a non-oem supplier !?
  20. Mmm..Freshly sprayed engine bay. Looks great !
  21. Si likes my knob...my old knob ! :D Im ordering a 99spec but getting the red stitching replaced for blue. They feel so much better than any aftermarket I've tried yet. Nicely weighted, nice texture and shape. (May be the same as pre-99 but all of those are tatty and worn, and dont feel the same)
  22. June..same as me. Im going to throw it a party. This is really handy tool for "series" confusions, Nice find Athena !
  23. 230 fly. It is a 200+ bhp car. All manufacture and published BHP quotes are flywheel HP. Its about 170'ish at the wheels I think. Wheel output is only really used in the tuning world. The TT is 280/300 at the fly. 230-240 at the wheels.
