  1. Not keen on the looks, and as Kirbz says the spec list does'nt make a lot of sense. and with no Rolling road printout then you should disregard any claimed power figures.
  2. Its a Noise shield, rather than a heat shield.
  3. Its not ideal (a bit like the Tein Superstreets) and I had my reservations, but they seem to be getting good reviews in the U.S. A Proper Mono Coilover system will always be the best setup though. They have much better damping than a Standard strut setup but spring rates tend to be on the harder side because of the track work they are destined for. You can always specify custom spring rates though. Interestingly SPL always recommend Coilovers - Wether it be for the Road or Track. They say that a standard strut and spring system can not fully deal with the reduced suspension travel that is a result of significant lowering.
  4. Nooo, dont go cheap. You will regret it.
  5. glad we could help LOL
  6. Just remembered, another bristol meet this month - http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=109154 - No gloucester names for it yet (or the castle combe one !!!!) All this talk about no meets in peoples area's is pointless when nobody puts there name down for ones near them anyway :(
  7. I edited my prev post quite heavily while you guys were replying
  8. I agree it could benefit with another Gloucester meet in there, but I dont think its as bad as you suggest. That is 3 out of 12 last year in that area and the next 2 meets are also in that direction of the region - April's meet is Castle Combe (action day) May's meet is also Castle combe (japfest) There were only 2 in Somerset and Definatly not enough Cornwall meets. There are 4 counties to cover in the region. 3 meets per region per year would be correct ratio. I personally still dont see an issue with members arranging there own meets, or even the REO assisting to make the forum arrangements - it does'nt have to be 1 meet per month.
  9. You dont consider Bristol to be your end Allan ? Any Gloucester meets while I was REO were handled by you or Kev because you asked to handle them, otherwise I would of done.
  10. you should budget around 20% for Import duty, VAT and handling fee's.
  11. Sounds interesting, nice one  what will your role be there then ?
  12. Dont think yours can be AVO paul, judging by what others have said about them.
  13.  Interesting project. Paul@SWZ single turbo'd his vert last year as an experiment, but has since just put a complete TT setup in there, but think he is planning on redoing it. Did you measure the room behind firewall and engine to see if that will fit, doesn't look like it would from the pics ?
  14. 3 areas would be a bit OTT imo
  15. Do an ECU test - http://www.ttzd.com/tech/diagnostictech.html to see if you have any error codes.
  16. 0.5 bar is safety boost yeh. 7psi.
  17. Gloucester, Bristol and Somerset Devon and Cornwall I guess ? Makes no odds to me. That does mean that we get lumbered with the dodgy Gloucester mob , wonder if we could pass them over to the Midlands instead
  18. Would'nt say flawed....syncro issues are still very rare...and lets not forget they are 15yrs old now, most other cars have same problems.... Only change if your having current problems, probably cheaper just to buy a new gearbox than rebuild though.
  19. some very heavy footed owners in this thread or over fueling cars in need of some maintenance !
  20. They came up nice and clean. Never realized the badge was SS under the red strip  I sprayed up my cam covers and throttle cover in Bayside blue to match the paint when I was bored one day, finish was good but regretted it since, so took them all off and resprayed in matt black today.
  21. Looks like she will be a cracking example when finished  Popular but Overpriced basic coilovers. They will do the job but you can get better for the money, buy them if you feel there is the need for the in-car adjustablity.
  22. I'd recommend 19row. Its what the UK had fitted as standard and what Nismo offered as a performance upgrade. ..and yes its is advisable, with the puny stock oil cooler the oil can getS too hot that it thins out and wont go through the valve to the oil cooler which then rockets the temps even higher. If after a hard run you touch the stock oil cooler and find it cold then thats what is happening !
  23. Love the offsets and sexy CE28n's on the pentroof. Im going to need mine done, but car aint going anywhere right now......may I suggest the meet is moved to my house in the South west instead ? LOL
  24. Becuase of a lot of it is down to spoke design it makes the task a bit trial and error (or base it on the setups others have used)
