  1. Recirc Valves have been replaced for Dump Valves (BOV's)
  2. Econ turns the Aircon off, so its just running normal heating system. I run it in econ mode 99% of the time Rec, is recirculating, so it closes the external vents and just recirculates the same air. You should have that off really.
  3. They are All manufactured in japan.
  4. Only on some UK cars (probably certain years). Some have fitted them without modification and not had any problems, but you can disable it.....there is info on here somewhere for it....but I cant find it now, Im sure somebody will be along with it
  5. Happy Birthday Mark
  6. Yeh, the legal aspect has discussed many times, but its never been an actual issue. This bit is relevent to cars in general, but not so much to the 300zx. When you fit HID lights to cars with regular headlights the beam pattern is scattered and looks terrible, with lots of glare. HID lights require the ellipsoid projector lights, that the 300zx has as standard. You many need to get the alightment checked after fitting but the beam pattern and output is far superior to that of regular headlights.
  7. Me, just hanging around.
  8. Yes, that would do the job. If you decide to change it later on then the best and simplest way will always be to fit a set of UK clocks.
  9. Fantastic pics ! Just had a look through mine, but 99.9% of them are pics of the Zed , best I could manage is this which is Paris on a Foggy day :
  10. Yep, the U.S got recall for them but Nissan never bothered with Uk and Japan unfortunatly  Relocation will only delay the inevitable.
  11. You need a gearbox specialist. I know that Ztech used to use a company near to them (swindon/newbury area) for leader gear installs....but that was years ago, not sure if the new owners can help, but worth asking.
  12. £20-£30 2nd hand, but there is always the risk of it happening again (I've gone through 3 or 4 PTU's in past zed's). or you could invest in the later series PTU (£120'ish) and not have to worry about it again.
  13. Bad fuel would cause at the very worst rough running, but more likely detonation. It would'nt cause car to cutout entirely. If it is PTU (sounds like it is ) then you need a new one, relocating wont fix the problem.
  14. Loving the new colour !!
  15. I dont think the vents are any smaller than stock, possibly bigger.
  16. Then his prop would'nt fit LOL. Should be able to get hold of a 2nd hand TT diff for a couple of hundred though.
  17. They are originally Lamborghini wheels are'nt they ? Anyway I think they suit Johns car very well.
  18. Just these
  19. or you could do away with them entirely
  20. Expensive items. Dread think of the price from Nissan UK, check with MJP. They are about £250 delivered for the pair from the states, but thats becuase shipping is so expensive as they are very long items.
  21. It goes from the battery negative terminal, and is then bolted in 3 or 4 places to the bulkhead before ending at one of the top gearbox bellhousing bolts. You can follow it from the engine bay down the back of the engine, and you should be able to reach down and feel if its bolted to the bellhousing. You;ll need to remove battery first.
  22. If you had diff play previously, then I would expect a one piece to exaggerate the problem further.
  23. No, the TT one piece prop uses the standard prop ends.
  24. I got no donking, clonking or even bonking with my 1 piece.
  25. becuase Im bored, here you go - http://www.greddy.com/img/PHP/products/pdf/682.pdf
