  1. A fine purchase, glad to see its remaining in the club by a real Z enthusiast.
  2. Congrats man.:thumbup1:
  3. its just the wrong pic.
  4. Half a meter too long?......you would struggle to get even a small hatchback in there.
  5. 5 years 7 months, although it was off the road for a year before I puchased it.

  7. where did you get this info from ?
  8. You should take a pic of it next to a typical 1/10 scale RC car that most people are used to, to show the size of the thing. I love 1/5 RC. My local track specialises in 1/5 Circuit racers, the cars are incredible with full hydraulic disc brake setups. I'm so tempted to get involved in it, but its not cheap. Most of the cars are £1k+ before radio gear, engines and extras.
  9. Depends on the Country and type of item and is typically between 22% and 25% of total cost inc shipping. So about £10-12k Not tried it before, but you could use this http://www.dutycalculator.com/new-import-duty-and-tax-calculation/
  10. Double row Timing chains like those fitted to BMW's are lifetime parts without a manufacturer replacement service interval.
  11. lol Details like dimensions are rarely disclosed by F1 teams, but the dimensions are governed by set regulations like min and max wheelbase measurements and maximum Front and rear overhangs. A typical 2011 F1 would be around 4600 - 4800mm long. In comparison the LWB 300zx is 4520mm and the SWB is 4305mm, and width is about the same between an F1 car and the Z.
  12. Cant remember/not sure if they are the same....you can use http://www.courtesyparts.com/ or http://www.300zx.lv/parts/ to see if they are the same. Contact MJP. He supplies every OEM part available for the Z, the website is not in any way a representation of what he supplies. You can just leave him a message on here in his section or by PM, or phone during weekday. Forget Zcentre, overpriced.
  13. Whenever I replace my daily driver I ring the insurance co up to transfer my policy to the new car, and each time they have offered me between 7-14 days grace period on the old car to give me time to sell it and include any premium difference in my monthly instalments. Thats with various different insurers.
  14. Did'nt know about the move to Australia....but the Club has been promoting the valuations to Z32 owners for years.
  15. Great choice. If I had the money and wanted one car to replace my Daily driver and the Z then it would be an M5.
  16. Zclub.net offer a Vehicle valuation service recognised by Insurers.
  17. Thank f*ck our police aren't that corrupt, willing to take backhand bribes rather than be concerned for public safety. Those cars were incredible though.
  18. Its more than likely your PTU connectors or the EFI loom that was disturbed when you undid the PTU connections. Possibly the PTU itself, the heat and vibration plays havoc with the soldered board connections, and its possible its removal and refit prematurely caused its eventual failure. Thermostat has absolutely no affect on the car starting.
  19. Used to sell them to S13 owners for £100 a pair with discs and pads. So i would say about £60-75 for just Calipers.
  20. S14 = R32 GTS-T = 300zx UK = 300zx Jspec Series 3 onwards Calipers are the same. Also the same as some Subaru Impreza Calipers, but I cant remember which ones. The ones in your 2nd picture are the Alloy version, found on the Series 1-2 Jspec 300zx. Fitment, Pads, Shims are the same. There may be a difference in Pad retaining pin length, I cant remember exactly on them.
  21. The Auto is 30kg heavier if I recall correctly.
