  1. That colour looks fantastic. Really pleased for you Vijay,
  2. They are advertising a 2nd hand engine supply & fit for £1195 which is good price. but can offer engine rebuilds too, and have to enquire price. Never heard of them myself, and Personally for a rebuild I would'nt use anyone that does'nt have a lot proven experience/ reputation/customer feedback in performance engine rebuilds. Pictures would suggest a large Workshop that mostly works on regular family cars.
  3. Yep, its a pretty decent figure. Not many VG30 experienced tuners in the UK, or people spending the money on them in comparison to RB26 fans in the UK though.
  4. I thought LED's ran cooler than regular bulbs. You must have an understandard MOT tester Si ;) I got rid of mine from the fog light location and moved them to the Indicator slot with LED's
  5. Nice one. I get/got similar mpg on my regular trips down to cornwall and back.
  6. Front discs - depends on brand ofcourse, anything from £50 (ebay) - £200 a pair. A set of Brembo discs would be around £125 the pair The judder could also be front tension rod bushes. They are gel filled, so check underneath for leaking bushes. HID lights are about £100 and make a massive difference NA is no way near as tunable as the TT, but Induction kit (£70), decat (£100), Exhaust (£300), Chip (£100), Headers(£200) , Lightweight crank pulley (£100) give a healthy gain across the range. with more response and an extra 20-30 hp NA's can often get away with regular unleaded, although if you do the above upgrades you'll want to use V-power.
  7. Mines parked up outside getting wet as my garage door fell off  :headvswal
  8. What base timing are you running now ? By all means try another chip, but if your suffereing with detonation with that chip and others aren't then that points at another cause.
  9. They are not coilovers, despite the name. Its just a cheap set of springs with an adjustable collar that you fit onto your existing stock shocks. There are loads of versions of these available on ebay. I know that mrogers fitted a set to his, and then removed them.
  10. Happy Birthday Neil Thats if you see this.. last online 6 weeks ago and not posted in 5 months
  11. MJP or your local Nissan dealer
  12. Nice little Skyline GTR RB26 vs 300zx VG30 comparison http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=93232 Near identical modifications, same tuner. The VG has over 300 ib/ft MORE torque !
  13. Yep, but he asked how it would compare to a 450 whp zed ;)
  14. take a loo at this, worth a try - http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=112513
  15. Nice one, I forgot all about the ECUtalk Hardware, and did'nt realise it did MPG. Think I might have to get one of these when the next batch are made.
  16. I never knew they changed it in later years. So they come on as Side lights only and you dont have a rear fog switch on the Right hand pod ? They are normally a combined Side light and Fog light on JDM cars.
  17. btw I have a nearly new Knock sensor for sale for £50 if your interested.
  18. Knocking/Detonation/Pinking = http://www.tricktuners.com/detonation_explained.htm Not knocking in the sense of worn bearings if thats what you were thinking Most people tend to bypass it with a Resistor tbh. It can be done with engine in, its about 5-6 hours labour for a garage and the Knock sensor is around £170
  19. The rear fog switch on a UK car is where you Front fog switch is, as UK cars dont have front fogs.
  20. Technically..no they should'nt. Although thats a big debate and cars with similar modifications definatly make more power than we get here, but then a lot of that is becuase they often use Race fuel on the dyno and quite a lot do have impressive 1/4 mile times too.
  21. Yeh, but none of the above are really dash replacements. Take a look at the following : AIM MXL Strada - £600 Race Technology Dash2 - £600 Racepak IQ3 with Data logging- £700 Racepak IQ3 Dash only- £400 Stack ST1830/ST8110SR - £1300 ETB DigiDash - £400 If your not after the Datalogging facility than Racepak IQ3 dash would be the best deal.
  22. There are a few running 500-600 rwhp on stock internals in the U.S. Thats using Race fuel ofcourse. Its all about how long it will last though.
  23. Thats Weston Super Mare near me
  24. Its a great colour choice...ok maybe Im biased there LOL Nice wheels Hideous looking dyno queen though ...and a crap advert
  25. Yep, you need a NA SWB rear prop half and mate it up with your front half. or you could get a Lightweight one piece prop
