  1. Once diffuser is in place the only difference is going to the extra curve/shape the vielside skirt has under the corner lights, on the side of the bumper ?.....I imagine it would be easier to fabricate that onto this bumper if you prefer that rather than cut most of the veilside away and fabricate the diffuser onto your bumper ? Plus this bumper is deeper(lower0,which looks better too imo. The plan for the 2+2 version is that the rear wont stick out so far as well, making it a bit shorter.
  2. from anyone breaking a Z, or one of the Z breakers.
  3. Looks like it may be the abflug diffuser
  4. yeh, Luke totally done them over and they are, not unsurprisingly, a little wary of bringing it to the UK now. Never liked the front, but been after this rear since the first concept came out. The only rear I have ever seen that I like.
  5. Not yet, they are looking for UK dealers atm...and unfortunately that's where it all went wrong getting their Front bumper to the UK last time. Hoping that's not an issue this time. its a complete bumper btw, that sits deeper/lower than the original.
  6. Im sure most of you rememebr the twinz rear bumper with diffuser concept design : Well its finished !! and will be ready for market soon !! .......... ME WANT !!!!
  7. Now that i really like, inc the wheels ! and yeh diffuser needs to be black
  8. Nope, not a fan, kind of plain and a bit generic yet chunky and modern but cheap looking (I know their not)
  9. happy birthday :hyper::hyper:
  10. 370z is definatly an improvement on the 350z, Im liking it. Do not like the wheels though, in fact don't like any of the Rays 350z/370z wheel choices.

    AA recovery. Drive it 10+ miles from home, Phone em up, tell them its started making a noise, they come look at it and trailer it to a garage of your choice (ie. Zedworld). Lots of people get their cars taken to Specialist garages that way.
  12. How they can call something thats DIY...rare ? LOL Even says "Custom" in the advert. There is another Seller on U.S ebay that sells complete Light up panels, the entire lot, all custom built and in whatever colour you want for about a 1/4 of that price ! and you can get the genuine JDM light up rears for much less too

    Why mot it with cronic engine problems? You dont want to be driving it around like that or you will shortly find yourself on the back of an AA truck when the oil pressure drops and the engine seizes or shoots a rod out the side.
  14. they said timing "almost" bang on ? providing thye fitted the belt correctly the timing can be adjusted at the CAS (by unscrewing and moving in smrall increments left or right) while checking with a strobe light for 15 tdc. Other causes are anything that can cause it to run too rich - faulty o2 sensors, temp sender, fuel pressure regulator and vacumn leaks.
  15. 1. Dead motor, or its come disconnected. 2. Although there are 4 lenses, there is only actually 2 bulbs. 1 for the left, 1 for the right, that should light up both lenses on that side. If only 1 side it working then either a bulb has gone or its been connected up as the Rear fog lights instead. 3. Sounds like the Dipped beam is earthing out.
  16. Not true Im afraid, an urban legend http://blog.olilolo.com/2008/09/08/mansfield-bugle-nets-1-news-source/642
  17. If its failing on emissions then its becuase you have a running issue, fitting cats may solve the issue but I would want to find out why and solve the actual problem. A 300zx has no problems passing emissions with cats removed. The o2 sensors are in the exhaust headers, not affected by the fitting or removal of cats. You should'nt have a problem getting hold a set of 2nd hand Z cats.
  18. Happy Birthday :dance::dance::dance:
  19. I like that !! Mmmm....buttons, I like buttons :D The 350z interior on the overhand, while looks "ok" is poorly put together with cheap plastics. The R35 interior looks better and higher quality.
  20. They dont sell Z specific fitment, but could get their universal ones but they will need fabrication & welding. Need to make sure you get the same fitment style - either bottom mounted or side mounted, depending on seat design. I got my universal sliding subframes from ebay. Did'nt want to spend over the top on branded parts when they are going to be cut up and welded.
  21. Sounds like Jeff may be able to help :) I cant see it being a big problem tbh. Service history is not a big selling point with cars like these, buyers far more interested in Spec/mods and condition, and these are all easy to see by the buyer. The 60k Cambelt being the only important one buyers look for. These are enthusiast cars, which means many owners do the work themselves on them and have little to no service history anyway, plus with the vast majority being Imports they usually come into the country without history anyway.
  22. The scrappage scheme is a joke. For the reaons above, but also The people using it are those that can afford new cars, so will own fairly decent not that old cars, most likely well maintained becuase they can afford to do so. Cars like the X-reg Corolla si mentioned. However, It does not get rid of the old bangers owned by people that can not afford to maintain them or buy a new car.
  23. There are some very rare seat subframes out there for the Z and aftermarket seats, but you will have trouble getting hold of them and they are very expensive. Most people modifiy either the stock subframes or generic subframes to fit. Will require a bit of fabrication and welding. My seats use sidemounts. I then purchased a low-height generic subframe and I cut up the stock Z mounts and welded on the bolt brackets where it fixes to the floor to the generic subframes. I then had to widen the holes a little on the generic subframe to get it to fit the seat sidemounts. I originally tried using a stock Z manual seat subframe, but i found it put the seat too high and I was looking for a lower seating position.
  24. Yeh, you will already have the bigger oilcooler, so just some big Intercoolers instead then :D
