  1. Mods deleted the 1st one. You will have to ask them why. But I replied to it, and the answer is "No, they are not trading". Im not aware of the 2nd. Forum policy is supposed to be that they notifiy you of reasons why a post is removed.
  2. I've fitted quite a lot of the ebay kits as well as kits from specialists to customers cars (from £30 to £300) . I cant comment on long term reliablity but I did'nt notice any difference at all between any of the kits when fitting. DTA Motorsport (in this forums traders section) is a popular supplier of HID kits.
  3. H3 for HID. (its H3c for jap if your buying regular halogen Bulbs, but for a HID kit you need H3) Stick to the 4500k-6000k Color temp range. 6000k is the most popular setup.
  4. Walk!? Walk!? ...I'll park at yours :) Ta
  5. AB-flug They do matching rears too (see Zoggs car)
  6. That would be cool. Thanks si :)
  7. Stock rev limiter is 6800rpm, most aftermarket chips raise it to 7200rpm...................I would not reccomend doing 8k rpm lol
  8. You can get them on ebay. There are several threads about these.
  9. You will find a code on the door lock barrel if you can get into the car and remove it (door card needs to come off)
  10. a 2000 300zx Slicktop Manual TT :)
  11. I dont believe anyone is "against" them, its just that they tend to be mapped for the higher octane fuel that japan has available 100-102ron , which can cause issues with detonation with our lower octane fuel. and even if its one of the milder versions it just makes sense to replace an "unknown" with a "known" if concerned about it.
  12. The Mines ECU's come in various flavours. Typically aggressive for High octane fuel. Any of the UK ECU tuners can read them and tell you about the Map, but people dont tend to bother with them. Its easier just to replace an Unknown Mines chip replacement UK mapped chip (£50-£100)
  13. You can run an ECU check for error codes : there are 2 methods : Method1 - http://www.ttzd.com/tech/diagnostictech.html method2 - http://www.twinturbo.net/ttnetfaq/FAQpages/ECUdiagnostics.html Error codes and other issues can also be seen by anyone with Conzult, Datascan or similar software and hardware.
  14. Its actually the sister car of the Johns Black LWB with the same wheels above. It was owned by Paul@SWZ, but he sold it on and the new owner did this to it just a few days later :
  15. I dont mind them, but not a wheel I would ever choose myself.
  16. Fairly sure Standard reccomended Tyre pressures are about : 32f , 34r +/- 2 But the answer to your fuel usage is far more likely to be down to Fuel leaks and/or running Rich. o2 sensor failure is very common. Other typical causes can be Temp sender and Fuel pressure regulator, as well as the car running in safety mode, which many are without the owners realising.
  17. If its something lighter and nippier then how about a later model slicktop TT manual. Makes the LWB feel big, heavy and wobbly. S2000 has never realy interested me personally. Im sure its a great car, but its uninspiring.
  18. Yowser replied to Ossian's topic in Events - UK
    HAHA. Brilliant
  19. The lights in the corner of the indicators are intended to light up the side of the road when indicating, they are not sidelights. Its a really neat idea, althought a bit suprising when you first use it. Only avaiable on some later model Jap Z's. The lights built into the Foglights are the sidelights.
  20. yep, thats the one.
  21. ^^ as above, I have had 2 blowouts in Z's at "high speed" on the motorway. The 1st was a rear tyre on a Widearch Z, car did'nt lose any stablility, it was just the increased vibration which told me something was wrong. Turned out the entire side of the tyre had blown out. btw Space saver on a Widearch Z is hilarious. :) 2nd was a front tyre, coasted to hard shoulder without any drama.
