  1. Were you not tempted to put in a Z or a 300ZX on this Great Mondo, same colour as your stitching ? Or are you saving that for the seats ?
  2. Happy birthday :cool3:.
  3. £2.77 from the far east on ebay, there's loads on there. Just crimped ring connectors on and stuck it on the battery ledge with some silicone, so when i lift out the battery it comes with it. Looked just now and from yesterday's 12v it's now on 11.9, expected drop after central locking several times and lots of courtesy lights switching on/off briefly.
  4. I fit the voltmeter at the start of last week, when running/charging it's in excess of 14v. About Weds it was on 11.9v and the car started no bother, ran it for a bit then locked it up until when i look today and it's on 12v exactly (thought it might be on less with the alarm set, etc). I was worried about its 'dark current' but i like the little thing and it gives me a very accurate glance charge indication . Fyi, car is sorned hence no battery clamp currently fitted.
  5. It's a no brainer, the spoiler now matches the year of the car :thumbup1:.
  6. What a shame when another one bites the dust . Glad you're ok and i echo what Gary says, save these for the summer salt less months.
  7. Welcome James. I concur what Baz as said as i have HSD's also, they were fit to the car when i purchased over 5 years ago and no problems at all.
  8. Fog light needs to be either in the center or on the offside, nearside location is not permitted. You need an illuminated cabin switch, 3 wires to it, one ground, one from your side light circuit and the other shoots to the rear and is your live to the red bulb, you will need to ground the bulb at the rear as well. Reverse lights are not a testable item btw.
  9. Yes the red plungers are the actual switches, either pull the outer switches off first from the front or even just pulling the board up will make these fall out. Be very surprised if you break anything !! You're welcome btw as i have two spare pods i can refer to so it's no bother.
  10. It sounds like you have the top two switches still in place - you'll need to pop them off then it'll come away.
  11. I sent my pod away a few years back and when it came back the contacts in the slide switch weren't just put back correctly. It sounds like the same thing, check them and re assemble :cool3:.
  12. It does, i was thinking of the word robust as i scrolled down .
  13. Japs North in the midlands - go figure. My thoughts are it's close in more ways than one to JAE, people will choose one ort tother and i expect JAE will win in the majority of cases .
  14. Ditto but all with Zed for me .
  15. Like this you mean .
  16. We're an Irish band we come from Dublin city Ireland.................like all cities it as it's good.....................and it as it's bad.
  17. yes and oh no :sweatdrop:.
  18. Happy birthday .
  19. I've edited your post Lee as you missed a bit off . Noticed i'm down as attending - i only said it was closer to my home than Wicksteed !!
  20. I noticed last night when i took a walk around night video showing mainly my rear lights that my blue ring was flickering. Faulty blue bulb discarded- i now have a red ring :thumbup1:.
  21. I like with and without Dave, i have a lot going on with my reverse light panel illumination and it's best not to disturb so left it be. I was going to keep the top chamber red but leds behind the red lens was a different red i got from red leds behind the clear in the indicator chamber, so to perfectly match i had to go clear on both and anyway this is a different look/change i had from my genuine 99's. Took a pic just now, during the day you don't get the stock single bulb chamber jam packed full of light like i have .
  22. I had a hideous one on the rear with a giant knuckle and not only that the plastic was fading on it so made it look even worse if that's possible. Here it is I noted the size a few days ago (22") and when i was in a pound shop today i thought why not and bought a 20" as they didn't have any larger. Old school, nice and simple, probably wont last 2 mins but what the heck i got two for the massive outlay, haha :thumbup1:.
  23. Been out twice today, the first part of this video is done in the daylight by my daughter and then a little walk around one by me as it was getting dark. As far as i know using the bottom 'indicator' section also as a tail light is unique and then the fitment of a switchback module enables the yellow signal part to be used in it's usual position. I can turn off the bottom tail light part if i so wish as i put in a very accessible bullet connector. Now please don't mention the smoke, i am not using the car it's sorned - a forged rebuild is way past the planning stage :thumbup1:. I did have a high level brake light and some subtle lighting onto the tail pipes - these now removed. [video=youtube_share;VvoznaRqPfo]
  24. New venue eh..........that's 50 miles less to travel each way for me, happy days :thumbup1:.
