pc's really peein me off
If you had your disk I was going to suggest reloading just your boot files from it. Looking like you might be best buying a fresh XP disk and starting again, there are plenty on ebay but be careful get genuine from a good seller, about £35.00 solves it yourself.

U.S lights??
These are a good bulb for the sidelights in the indicator housing, bright and white  presuming of course they are 382's. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2-x-382-FLASH-INDICATOR-SIGNAL-36-LED-21W-LIGHT-BULBS-/150527710734?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item230c26960e Buy more than two though, so you have some spare, I have had some of the led's fail on some bulbs  You can also get them in amber for the indicators. I will mantain that these are still best for the T10's in the sidelight front fogs, if like me you are keeping them there as well, very bright and white smd's  http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Pair-White-T10-W5W-194-5-SMD-LED-Car-Light-Bulbs-k-/390248570507?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5adca09e8b These can also be obtained in red for the rear number plate, yes red, it looks superb  and very well lit and not illegal (a bit of a grey area!!). Many other colours are available including amber for your clear side indicators For the H3's in the front fog housings I have these, again a white colour, I use these as my running lights  http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2-X-Car-Auto-H3-Fog-9-SMD-LED-Headlight-Head-Light-Bulb-/150524406949?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item230bf42ca5 I know you can get H3's with more smd's, I have bought them all even the massive 68smd's (to get these to fit you have to file out the metal housing to get them through!!) but they all seemed to give off a bluey white colour, so I have decided to stick with the 9smd ones I recommend above :cool3: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2-H3-68-SMD-LED-Car-Fog-Head-Light-Headlight-Lamp-Bulb-/300494890181?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item45f6e424c5

I want cruise control...
I dont have cruise in my 94 slicky James  Not bothering me but am reading with interest any posts in this thread. Sounds way too much work though  If I was you I would just forget about it, just get a pod with a cruise control switch instead of the blank, so it then looks like you do have it :whistling: :whistling:

tom tom's
Furthermore, speed camera locations are available here http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/subscription.php You do need to pay to get them and it as got a lot more expensive than when I last paid, you then get all the files to load into your satnav, these are yours to keep for ever with no more charges. If you choose not to pay for the 2nd year then you will not get the latest released files but they do not noticeably change much anyway. My files must be at least 18 months old, I could update but I am more than happy :flowers:
-
tom tom's
Once bought you do not need to pay owt :thumbup1: If you want extras then by all means pay but I wouldn't bother, I have had a tomtom for about 4 years and you can load it yourself with speed cameras, voices, etc, if not I will do it for you. I just ignore traffic jam announcements and matrix motorway signs anyway as more often than not the trouble as long since cleared, better the devil you know than the road you dont!!! If you are going to get stuck in traffic once in a while it is not the end of the world. With tomtomhome installed for free on your pc, you just plug in the tomtom via usb every month or so and it will update for free any road changes or additions required

Started on my angel eyes
Put the oven on at around 100 degrees, this method warms the gunk equally, keep popping them in for 10 min stints and then more prising, once you get a corner out and it's nice and warm it comes apart a treat :thumbup1: Of course works just as well with the rear lights
-
Started on my angel eyes
Course you can, angels are for sidelights, hid's for your dipped :thumbup1:

Size of 99spec pin stripes
Something on these lines :thumbup1: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ansmann-Racing-Line-Tape-Black-2mm-Wide-X-10m-Long-/260699219503?pt=UK_ToysGames_RadioControlled_JN&hash=item3cb2e2662f A word of warning I used this but it come away in places, suggest you stick it with something extra when you apply it. You might want to try and mask and paint your black lines on, that way you will for sure have no problem in the future. Too cold for me at the moment but mine need opening up and I think I will do this option with an artists brush and small pot of paint  http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Black-Acrylic-Paint-59ml-Artist-Craft-Painting-Art-Noir-/300495003817?pt=UK_Crafts_DrawingSupplies_EH&hash=item45f6e5e0a9
