Yeah, lovely car :drool:. You're always going to get folk finding items not to their own liking even on the ultimate spec/year, personally I would of kept stock mirrors and the airbag steering wheel :yes:.

After days of fiddling put my indiglo clocks in yesterday and I pretty much have them spot on, road testing will now tell me where I need to make any very minor adjustments and as from midnight I am putting the lady back on the road for 6 months :thumbup1:. So some last minute work carried out today : Battery trickle charged and bolted in, it's been in and out, in and out for the last 6 months. All tyres inflated, checked oil and water a few days ago. Drivers side heated mirror arrived in the post from Paul Banzai, broke last one getting it off doing my mirror indicator mod, didn't make the same mistake this time :glare: and that was plugged in and snapped on. Mint ashtray again from Paul, now fit. Finally tracked down some nice bonnet hinge covers, yes again from Paul, gloss blacked, lacquered and now fit. About 7 litres of fuel put in to get me to a filling station. Put my make up and lippy in the glovebox so I'm good to go :yes:.

Right a further update after further testing in the darkness, you will of noticed above the blue 'trays' as I call them with the edges, well I used a pair with chopped off edges, ie flat, as you'll notice the indiglos I wrongly got are too large and so needed a flat surface to overhang. But there was a problem with this method, once fit these two small gauges were swamped with light from the stock T10 bulbs which you need to keep for the needle illumination, note glo dials do not need any illumination from these stock bulbs as of course they have their own built in EL display. So, I chopped down the new white glo faces as you can trim them in the right places, so that they fit practically in these trays, I just had to cut off part of a tray edge where the two wires were, the blue trays were also brush painted in craft black paint to allow no light in whatsoever. The result is much better as all you want to see is the glo dials lit with lovely red needles spinning :thumbup1:.

What colour have you done the halo part of the handles? Just to update this thread for future reference these are my Jap series 4 faces and are completely different from the ones posted above. I butchered the speedo face a while ago as of course it shouldn't be like this. Pictured alongside my bespoke made glo dials which were based on the ones above, so no wonder I had issues fitting but I sorted it all :yes:. Please note how the boost and oil gauge fit inside the blue 'trays', is it only S4 that as this then ? To fit my new faces I cut away the raised edges and made them flat.

Oooooh how exciting my lovely post lady as just dropped off my gauge faces all the way from Poland :thumbup1:. Good quality as well a few mm thick and of course exactly as drafted a week or so ago, I shall fit over the weekend :yes:.

The goal all along was to achieve the factory mirror look, I took great care with the 'slot' cutting out with different dremel attachments and then used needle files where necessary. If you must keep your sidelights in the fogs yes get some 5 smd T10 bulbs from ebay. Personally I would put the sidelights in the indicator housing and just have the H3 HID's in the fogs, nothing else as they are a great mod :yes: as well as HID in the dipped as that of course is a no brainer :thumbup1:.

Even in the group stage Man U were poor, losing two games and to still top the group tells me they were 4 poor teams. But hey hoh the group was still won, what went wrong was Real not winning theirs and consequently you came up against these European giants but they've all got to be beat if the competition is to be won. Fit my mirrors and got closure in this area as the door cards are all back together and I have lit what I wanted to light up, these mirrors now have indicators, auto fold, adjust and are heated :thumbup1:. All my indicators are yellow and match very well as opposed to some of the led bulbs being more of an amber colour, look very nice especially at night when all is a blinking, the new mirror indication can be seen perfectly during daytime as well. Also, lit up and tested my HID front fogs and low beam and all is working well :yes:. I'll take a video over the next day or so as the headlights I showed in post 195 are fitted and work a treat :clap:.

Please Rich have a look at my spec list in my profile at the work done last summer by Lee Dent, adding to what I already had, my stock internals are left alone but I practically have everything else upgraded and it didn't cost an arm and a leg....well perhaps an arm !! 400 bhp is easily achievable with just a few choice mods, I have done all I can and if I want more but for the time being I don't, then the only way for me to go would be internal work and hence more expense :thumbup1:.

I know this reply is a while in coming but I've seen similar queries and enough is enough I am writing this down !! Mine is a J Spec so I have the full compliment of 7 wires at each mirror. This is my drivers side, colour first in each case below is the mirror wire Orange connects to Green/Black Blue to Blue/Orange Yellow to Blue/Black Purple to Blue Pink to Green/Red Black to Yellow/Blue Black to Blue/White I know the final two blacks from the mirror are for the heated glass part, note both blacks are the same colour and so if you flip flopped them it wouldn't matter. Not sure if all imports are the same but my passenger side as some slight differences, so please note carefully as the Blue and the Yellow mirror coloured wires below go to different coloured wires than the ones on the drivers side Orange connects to Green/Black Blue to Blue/Red Yellow to Blue/Yellow Purple to Blue Pink to Green/Red Black to Yellow/Blue Black to Blue/White
