1. Take you that extra 5, 10 mins struggling with the card on so may as well wop it off and anyway you cannot backlight the handle assy without removing the card :thumbup1:.
2. I read that thread a few days ago Gerry, possibilities are endless for me as it is without further encouragement of a new product .
3. I think Jeff that looks like a twist on a standard bulb, you also must ask the question why is no one from the far east selling these ? All manufacturers are fitting HID's so I can only conclude one thing from that . EDIT : Oh and 380 Lumens is rubbish, HID's have at least 3, 4 or 5 times that !!
4. Just a little something I did amongst other jobs, rubbed a bit of white paint into the key barrel engravings, then rubbed the excess off, I did the 'push' button a while ago :thumbup1:.
5. FFS Brian I feel for you, having to re do jobs already done is a PITA. All that smoke and I can only imagine you turning the air even bluer .
6. Glorious day today 'up north', so fitted my blinged up headlights - I think they match my 'Depo' indicator housings very nice, thank you Rolandas for them - love them to bits chum :thumbup1:. Also, modified a stock rad bracket, not to hold the radiator just so I had the catch to hold the bonnet strut. And yes Brian I do still need that temp gauge sender thing you promised me for that rad location :tongue_smilie:.
7. Yep you got me Steve all ends up, I spent so long last Sept looking, criticizing and pretending I didn't like your lights when secretly I loved everything about them and as soon as I got home the work began to try in vain I know to have something similar on my Z :surrender:.
8. Every set I see for sale there is always something I don't like about them and this includes the set I originally had on the car, so getting some bespoke made as been ideal for me. We all like different things but getting the red well lit needles spinning in front of them should look very nice IMO. Nothing stopping you from getting some made to your exact remit bud :thumbup1:.
9. I've done that but only for a few hours when I had the door cards off then I realized, I was like Doc from Back To The Future - banging my head and saying of course .
10. These have been in the planning for a while now but ready on a dry day to be fit. Chrome/Mirror wrapped inserts, 15 smd RGB halos fitted, 3 x silica gel sachets, 5000k HID's, Blue tipped H1 main beam, Tamiya cogs, etc. Totally unique and just for me .
11. Your overlooking the fact he his a member on every car forum in the known universe :glare:.
12. I will update when these come in to me, I am expecting really nice quality faces. One final design twist I did, the 4 position should NOT be at the 6 o'clock position on the oil pressure gauge, should be a tad to the right of it .
13. It's funny that now you mention it, as he did seem very keen to get the money in :cursing:.
14. Not sure I'm in agreement with you as the speedo as a line every 5mph, but yes I did want the 200mph showing :thumbup1:. No...I wanted to keep more universal dials and I did see later on in the design that I could have NISSAN on one and 300ZX on the other. Not had an issue yet with removing needles, I know what you mean though as they will take a bit of trialing to get accurate again and will not be to every ones cup of tea all the fiddling. With regard to the 30 and 70, you can't have everything as I didn't want them too busy. A few things people haven't noticed and frankly I am disappointed  the temp display as the same increments as the fuel gauge and the same can be said of the boost and oil gauge :thumbup1:
15. Right ever since I started this thread I have been liaising with this company via email. It seems they will make up 'projects' of whatever you want :thumbup1:. Told them rough at first what I wanted with the aid of some links/attachments and they gave me a price which they have stuck to. I paid in full via paypal, Adam he's called sent me through a draft and straight away I liked as it was on the lines of what I asked for. I informed him of some alterations and he sent me through another, getting there now so just a few more tweaks and now the finished product that will be bespoke made for me now is below. It's each to there own but these will be white background and will glow up red and blue when lit, similar in style but not as busy as my last ones. He does tell me that the petrol pump symbol in the stock position is translucent and will light up when low on fuel. Any observations/comments/criticisms very welcome for these roughly JDM style faces, there are some talking points for the eagle eyed out there :detective:.
16. Yes it will but I wouldn't worry about it and fit what you like, either just pull the bulb in the clocks or better still in the coming weeks I am going to have a go at removing the tail light sensor sender thing, therefore tricking the dash clocks into thinking all is well. For the indicators get a fast flash relay and fit in the footwell near the brake pedal :thumbup1:.
17. Just like the ones you have Ian :tt2:.
18. I have got one now and had it fitted for a while in fact  got it amongst some other stuff from a guy who was breaking on ebay.
19. Really, cos I have been looking and looking at this meet and thought I could travel down to see you the next day for a tinker ? Rich, put me down for a ticket please .
20. I remember now.....kettle's on so don't be long :thumbup1:.
21. Welcome Ian, I am only in Burnley come over and let me have a look at the lady, mine is currently sorned so I cannot come out to play just yet .
22. A man who works without being fed and watered deserves all the credit you can shower upon him . I will be getting my car to Noel very soon without a doubt :thumbup1:.
23. Great heads up Brian :tongue_smilie:. I have one of these though, £1.00 it was from poundland or similar :thumbup1:.
24. It is all going to be linked with the 300ZX in the reverse light panel, plus some other bits. How these RGB lights work is they will all power on when I put my lights on, I can then choose what colour I like, for example red is perfectly legal for these quarter window lights and will work as a side marker if you like, also red at the rear is fine. I can then switch off the lights at the pod and of course all these add ons will go off, then next journey lights back on and the RGB lights will come on as they were when they were powered off, so red for my example. So no need for fiddling or adjusting each journey. RGB lights can also be turned off at the remote. So these are 'show' lights but can also be set for road use.
25. Following on my post 121, I have now moved on and got them ready to be fit in the car, they will be fit and linked to other stuff that is all practically ready on the bench :thumbup1:. A bit later on in the vid you will see the controller to operate the colours, they do a lot of stuff and look better in real life.
