You'd be better crashing with one of the Liverpool lads and then convoying next morning rather than toddling down on your lonesome :thumbup1:.

  10. Non alcoholic beverages of course . Very probable I will be doing this, not doing the hotel swinging thing though just the tootle along the prom for me :thumbup1:.
  11. I have sold the car now but it's still on autotrader as I am letting it run it's full course to gauge further interest but I do practically get an email 'enquiry' a day, often in broken not normal car speak English, I replied briefly to a couple and you get back basically 'really like the car and want to pay with paypal' and if you haven't got paypal they put a link in their reply for you to obviously click and then they'll be able to trace your log in .
  12. Having seen another members shiny steering wheel the other day and as my SRS one was a little dull as previously I stripped mine back because of worn areas, I had gotten a bit fed up in using black shoe polish to try and bring it back to life but to no avail - I thought what have I to lose and so I black glossed it with several coats of lacquer and this as brought it up very very well and I is well pleased with this job .
  13. I also know this car and man, he's been to my house a few times in it and he's on this forum but not very active :thumbup1:.
  14. Blimey you did have a busy day and a brew at every stop !!!! You couldn't of left that engine in better hands :thumbup1:.
  15. Not fully understanding what you've done but these two comments might help. It flashes fast because the car thinks the current draw is incorrect, usually because led bulbs have been fitted, a fast flash relay will solve all these issues and this is bought cheaply on ebay and fitted near your pedals in place of the stock one. Also, on JDM you might have an extra wire in the corners and this becomes live when you switch on your dipped lights and indicate that corner and in turn illuminates a kerb light when fitted in the indicator corner chamber.
  16. If the tester is anal then he'll fail them but this as far as I am aware is rare, my advice would be to warm them up before you take it in if that's possible, then at least they'll come straight on when required and the examiner will not bat an eyelid and will just be too busy with the next job on his list - testing for alignment :thumbup1:.
  17. Yes that's correct Si, hitting the fog light switch turns on the side light circuit but you went a long way round about saying it .
  18. Daughters birthday today as well Steve, have a good day bud :thumbup1:.
  19. I've converted a stock reverse panel to light up blue for Iangreenfield, now come and pick it up - better than your 99 spec one .
  20. Your very welcome Ian and I like pic 3 as it's got my Z on it . The fitment of these was totally perfect and flush all over, could not of gone better, much easier to work with when the we have 20 degree temps as it keeps the black sealant relatively supple .
  21. Granted if all is well you don't need an a/m gauge but what if you have a split hose out of the blue, your stock gauge will not flinch or move up enough that it'll catch your eye whereas an accurate a/m ones needle will move considerably and you can switch off sooner and investigate .
  22. Your reverse light panel should be green, does it still have the chunky stock invertor to run it ? How do you plan to have illumination in the quarter windows ? I made up some chambers that fill with light from a smd strip or you can just have a steel plate and sit an el panel behind, like I used to have.
  23. It doesn't take long for the stock needle to start moving, 10 mins and it should be somewhere in the middle of it's range and it'll stay there. I have recently had a split pipe and my aftermarket gauge is far more accurate and soon indicates to you that there is a problem, where as the stock gauge is oblivious to this and will be not register any more movement .
  24. Have a great day and I'll see you soon .
  25. Might be at night but the prom is well lit . I know a guy who is on this forum, owns a zed and he has a hotel on the front, parking not good though .
