Well Chris has got it all set up ready for me to collect tommorrow. I will be setting off on train at 0630 and get in at 1200. He will then take me for a test drive where he drives first then i drive and give feedback. No doubt he will scare the sh*t out of me! The traction control has been set up now as well so should aid keeping me on the road! I am going to drive over to Thor to catch up with them as well tommorrow. Will let you know how i get on!

LOL, the wrapping does come off but noone sees it anyway under there! Take a drive through to Loch Lomond and the surrounding area only about 30 mins from glasgow. As for going out look for Byres road in the westend and there is a place called Ashton Lane which has some nice pubs and restaurants on it.

Good idea to get everything together first then goo. Chris has recommended i get IKEYA rear camber arms but i doubt i will be able to get them in time for Tuesday before i collect.

I am indeed going over there on Wednesday!:D

Few more piccies. Chris also mentioned that it was having difficulty idleing after it was being driven then coming to a stop so i will need to get in touch with Thor again to see what can be done there.

Well my Z was collected by Chris from Centre of Gravity yesterday afternoon and he has been working on it throughout today. He is a really top bloke to talk to, even though it is only on the phone at present! Anyway he spent about 1.5 Hours freeing off all the adjustment points and then proceeded to set the car up. He is also going to check over my traction control to ensure it is set up correctly as well. Last i heard was about 1700 and he was just off to take it for a test drive after the first round of adjustments!

Just received printout via email. They said it was running 1.8 bar of boost for the power run. This means nothing to me! They said they took it for a drive and it is slightly damp outside, said it was very lively!

Dont know mate, didnt ask. Overlooked your 510 at the hubs guess! I will wait till i get the printout on Tuesday and you may have won! Think i need an independant ajudicator LOL!!!!

Just off the phone to Thor. Mapping is finished and they did the power run. Pretty pleased with the result, 575BHP at the flywheel, which was 513.9BHP at the hubs! I havent seen the printout yet as i am collecting the car from centre of gravity on Tuesday so will post it up then. Am i correct in saying EvoluZion3 was the closest.....bang on 575! I will verify this on Tuesday and make a donation to his charity then!

Just waiting for Thor to call! They had extracto fan issues yesterday so it was delayed until today.

Think they are nose panel bound at present!

Im not going down until next Tuesday to collect and was on the phone to them today. The mapper, Peter, is abroad until tommorrow and will be finishing the mapping on Thursday morning. They were having a bit of difficulty fitting the doolz, firstly because it needed a second base plate for the air filter to fit on as i am removing the Maf and also the fact that the base plate supplied was warped! They have made 2 new plates now. Also it is very tight for space so i think they may modify the tubeing to fit. I have just emailed them the Leader Gear ratio's and OS Giken ratios incase they need that. Better for them to know just incase! Centre of Gravity is collecting the car from them on Thursday afternoon and they have assured me it will be ready! I am glad i gave them lots of time as with the Jap show last weekend they got a couple of urgent last minute jobs in so i gave them some slack.

I bought a new CAS and iirc it was to fit on to the new loom so it will be the newer CAS. I have just seen your post about changing a component within the CAS, what was that for?

LOL! The traction control may be working overtime! Well thats a very wide array of guesses so far. Will not be happy with 310BHP!!!:mac1:

Just off the phone to Thor racing and they are reporting that the mapping is going well and everything will be finished on Thursday morning. They have only ran it up to about 8 or 10 psi at present and are getting good power from that. He asked me what sort of power figures i thought would be achieved, but i have got no idea! So, I would like to run a small guess the power competition! The member who guesses the closest to the final flywheel power figure that is achieved by Thursday afternoon i will donate £20 to a charity of their choice. What is the best product for cleaning off all the oil and grease from the engine. I have an engine that i am splitting up for spares and would like to clean the cylinder heads etc once they are removed. Any suggestions?

I have a set of these waiting to be trimmed in tartan and fitting them in the Z! Very supportive!:p

I dont mind arranging the courier to deliver them and pay for that initially, but i dont think Coz wants to then refund that money and i dont quite know how to get it from him once i have paid it!

Some good bits on their as it is a pretty clean car iirc.

I have got 2 faulty driveshafts from Concept Z. Basically they are both 2" too short. I paid for them to be posted here and i will be sending them back for a refund and will get the postage for the second ones delivery to the UK refunded. However, it looks like i will have to pay the reurn postage. Do you think this is correct for being sent items that are incorrect? Should i pay the return postage or should Coz? It will be about £75 to ship them back. What do you guys think?

It was picked up prettty early i think. Take it you got some bits off the SWB he is breaking?
