I've decided to improve the handling of the car instead of upping the power...for now! So, would I be able to fit the poly bushes from Z-Centre myself?? With the car up on jack stands and normal tools? Or would I have to get a garage to do it??? Cheers guys :D

I've got Alpine 6x9's in the front doors. Had to cut the door card though. Fits perfecty and sounds great!

After pampering my Zed I decided to go for a drive too. Went to the Landy show room to get a gift for my father. Just across the road is the Reading Aston Martin showrooms. After drooling for 10mins and chatting to the salesman I told him I had a Zed. Never seen someone so interested before! I drove it round so he could have a look and even the three people inside came out to have a look :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: So 1 L reg Zed attracts more attention then 5 new DB9s, yipee!!!!! :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :D :D

I'm thinking of shortening my auto gear stick. Looks really ungainly and there is no need for it to that long! Can I just take a hack saw to it? Has anyone done this before or know of any aftermarket ones??? Will it still work correctlyif its about 3 inches shorter?? Cheers Andrew

Having just got back from Northern Norway this snow is rather pathetic!!! :p However, driving a 4x4 with studded tires is totally different to driving a Zed and I keep forgetting I dont have the grip anymore! Talking about grip, has anyone got stuck behind a bloody gritting truck on the motorway. Was in the middle lane of the M25 doing about 50mph. Had to over take it cos I was late..... Oh what a mistake! My bonnet and leftside of the car is peppered with stone chips, ARRGHH! Had spent the day polishing and pampering her and now she's a mess. Not happy! :cry: :cry:

I've been reading posts about problems getting the tub timer to work with the alarm. Did a search and found on http://www.autowatch.co.za an alarm with turbo timer. It's the 456Rli. Has anyone heard of these or used it?? Cheers Andrew :cool:

Well when we landed back in the uk, guess what the weather was doing? Snowing!!! :( ARRGHH! Was 4 C here today, rather toasty!

Having just returned from Norway I had a big pile of mail to open. In it was a letter form my insurance company saying i needed to pay an admin charge of £90 with in 7 days. As I wasnt in the UK to receive the letter or pay the money, they've cancelled my insurance. :confused: So I've now lost £1000 over a petty 90 quid. They wont re-instate my insurance, just keep trying to refer my to the 'quotation team' This is through no fault of my own or theirs, I'm just highly p***ed off :headvswal Where do I stand with claiming some or all of my money back??? And advice will be much appreciated Andrew

Cheers guys! The Navy took out 2 Lynx and 2 Seakings. RAF eventually brought out 2 Merlins and we took out 2 Lynx. We were the only to have 100% servicability!! :rofl: :rofl: RAF landed a Merlin on a frozen lake only to find out it wasnt that frozen! Nose wheel went through the ice :shock:

Arrived back this morning from 5 weeks in the coldest place I've ever known! Coldest it went down to was -48 C on the top of a mountain. its so cold that it you spill a hot drink, its frozen before its run to the bottom of the mug :shock: The helicopter dispersal next to the runway was like an icerink. 1x Landrover with studded tires equals hours of drifting fun!!! :rofl: :rofl: Glad to be back though... Spent the whole day driving my Zed, been looking forward to that for a long time! :dance:
