Well I blame someone on this here club!! One warm sunny Friday evening I was driving south on the A14 and I saw this sleek, low red sports car cruising along in the left hand lane. I pulled up next to it and saw the targas were off too. A big bloke with long wild black hair was driving it. Noticed 300zx.co.uk stickers in the windows. As soon as I got home went straight onto the net and browsed the site. I saw this big bloke with wild black hair at the SE meet over Easter this year. Its your fault I'm broke now! :rofl: :rofl: I first saw a 300 when I was a kid in South Africa. Asked my dad what car is that and he said 'some sort of Nissan and its got TWO turbos' From that day on I was in love with the car but never seriously thought about getting one. Until I came across that site. Awesome looks, big RWD power and reasonable money! Until they go bang that is!! :p

Didnt think my aircon was working til I read this and worked out how to use it! Basically .... AUTO brings the aircon compressor into play ie. cold air in summer ECON is climate control with out the compressor ie. warm air in winter, just uses air from outside. REC circulates the air in the cabin. No outside air enters. Set the temp you want and the temp will'll soon settle down. When its cold and I'm on the move I press OFF, then set the temp ie 20C the press the direction buttons so the air's going where I want it. I find that really warms up the cabin without blasting air everywhere! When its hot, press AUTO, temp to 10C. Temp will drop rapidly, after a bit, set the temp to 15C, rather comfortable! Well thats my opinion! Andrew :)

Right, found out today that I'm on a Op Tour in October. I'll be away for 6 months and be able to save loads of dosh. I'm going to dedicate about 2 grand to the Zed... :hyper: Here's a list of what I'd like done... Sort out rust on body (sills and targa top) Smithy's fuel lines Remove rear spoiler (smooth rear) Powder coat wheels Black Z-Centre leather dash kit (Fitted) Poly bushes (maybe!) Camber kit 99 Spec front plus fogs 99 Spec rear lights HID Clear side repeaters Replace all rubber seals around windows Repair (or replace) gash in drivers seat lumber support Boost, water temp, oil px guage fitted (in slot unger radio) Fix up all body work so it looks sweet! Basically I want to tidy up the car. I think its in rather good nick but with room for improvement! Not really interested in major mods ie. boost jets (just yet!) And no, I'm not changing the colour before any of you start LOL!! :rofl: Any other suggestions????? So... Who do I take it to to get everything done while I'm away?? Ztech, Z World, Nisstec???? Be careful though. Remove the little black needle stop before removing the actual needle. It has a preload and its rest possition isnt nessacerally (spelling!!) on the Zero. After removing the stop, the needle will swing further down the dail. That is now where you need to make your mark. I didnt realise this and took me hours to get the needles in the right positions!
