Not a problem buddy, Will be another few weeks before we start to see any progress but i'll be posting pics and when I get her home i'll start the reassembly.

Just found out that the Gumball Rally cars are landing at Prestwick Airport tonight at about 7PM They will be doing a lap around the runway and airport followed by going to Edinburgh tomorrow morning at 6AM. Far as I know cars like the Tumbler will be there and also KIT. I'll try get up to go to the morning show but i'll update with pics when i'm back from tonight's.

Just ordered a new 99 spec spoiler and side skirts for my new respray next week. This zed is gonna look awesome

Hi, Planet Performance which is just around the corner from me can get any Nissan part direct. As long as you can get them a part number they can source it. Lee

They came from the factory with decals but if the Perspex was ever changed for new then it won't have them applied.

I know of at least two other zeds in Ayrshire close to me but they don't actively take part in these forums as they run there own club which has a fairly big following in the west cost. But i would say for parts and the work i pass them i'm there biggest zed customer.

wanting to do the exact same as my stock cooler has busted connections.

Only the engine bay will be fully black.

The project should be complete by September so it will be at JAE this year for all to see.

The work on my zed starts officially next Monday so i'll update this thread with detailed images as we go. House of Kolors Kandi Purple is the colour picked and I can't wait to see the progress.

Dropped off my 99 spec front bumper and new rear bumper that I managed to acquire and took the time to have a wee nosey at the current jobs they are completing Now I never like the thought of copying somebody's ideas but it just so happened that another car was in getting the exact same paint job as I picked so it gave me an idea of what was coming for mine. Hard to tell from these pics as its still getting worked on but some of the panels were getting the polished look and when the light caught the panel it just lit up in a way I cannot even describe but to say it was stunning.

So today I had a half day so when I came home I had the surprise of and empty driveway as the body shop came earlier than expected and trailered the zed away. Still needing to drop a few things off I nipped over to see how things were. And there she was sitting outside waiting patiently

Last thing needing done at this point two days ago was to swap over to a better condition tailgate and bonnet which with help from my other half we managed to do at the late hours of sunday night.

So just over two weeks ago I managed to get the engine out and dropped it off to Lee Dent for a rebuild and I continued with more of the strip down as I could before getting picked up by the body shop again.

Over the winter period I managed to damage the engine as the bonnet was off and the cover didn't protect it enough from water so with the plenum off too all the intakes filled up quickly with water. Now my engine was fooked too so I decided to crack on with now a complete engine out stripdown. Starting with the lights I worked my way round the full front end slowly dismantling everything and carefully boxing parts up to be stored in my loft.

So after all the dumb luck above it only got worse although not zed related as I shortly discovered that the company I worked for went into liquidation so I promptly got paid off. Luckily we got bought out and I managed to keep my job but due to top level management setting up a new company and rehiring everyone there was a point I would have been paid redundancy and the payout would have been for 8 years of service or so I thought. Turns out after being told we all would be due redundancy the new company decided to keep our contracts going as they were so we didn't get a penny. At that time I thought; great time to strip her down and do a respray with the redundancy cash. Which never came and I ended up with a completely stripped zed with winter approaching fast.
