check the fuses in the drivers side footwell, could of blown the fuse in there, cant remember what one but had the same, think its the one for the rear screen demister. Can also check the ENG CONT fuse in the main box in the engine bay, if that blows it can knock out all your dash pods

at the moment still waiting on insurance, i rang them yesterday after it seemed i had had more contact from his insurance about it than my own, seems the body shop hadn't sent the revised estimate through with the photos of the damage, so i had to chase that up yesterday, i rang the insurance back when the guy from the body shop had said he sent them, just to make sure they turned up this time. otherwise id be taking my car to a different body shop Hope they hurry their ass up though, got JAE soon and want to at least show up in some sort of jap car.

id say your car is beyond saving, reshell would be a better option.

non smoking, just refurbed anywhere between £200 and £400 (each) matey, sometimes more, though would really depend on what turbos they are. OEM ones ive seen sell on ebay for around £200ish each.

Auto has a large metal spigot bearing, thats the one that gets hammered out, the one you need is the brass spigot bearing, about £5 from nissan. Other things you might want to replace why its off, clutch release fork / clutch release bearing, clutch release fork retaining pin (all available from either MJP in the traders section, or zcentre) you already put down the rear crank seal.

yep thats the one i thought it was. if you are after a tidy shell, i know where there will eventually be a pentroof LWB wide arch shell going soonish.

rear valance, ive seen them rotted before, but not that bad and not that high up, funnily enough, not a MOT failure at the lower points, though that might be lol

It has potential, just not sure where the showcar bit came from. remove the rear spoiler (although some might like that), sort the rear lights out, new front bumper, 89 or 99 spec spoiler on the back and a brush over with a spray gun, i think it wouldnt look too bad to be fair.

Ive got a baileys DV26, had it for ages, had it on my pug 406 2lt turbo, cant see how you can adjust it apart from changing the chamber spring though? The recircs are accessible once the nose panel is removed and the OEM (if you have one) air filter box is removed. 2 bolts and 2 pipes (one in and one out) attach it to the car, the bolts usually snap so be mind full of that. You need to plug one of the holes and put the BOV's on the other, attach the vac line to the top and off you go.

They both have their merits, both been well maintained, the black one is closer to the end result id like and i don't mind modding it with parts off my blue car, the cherry red one, is too good to modify, if ryans sells before the end of the auction on the black one, so be it, but id like to personally wait to see if i can get the black one first, as that would be better for modding to my tastes. How ever, i love the cherry red one, but as i said, id find it extremely difficult to modify, i know its got side skirts already on it, but its been keep in so pristine condition that id actually want to get it back to standard more than it is now, which is going in the wrong direction of what i wanted a zed for. albeit a good direction lol Thats probably made you more confused lol

hence the reason not too fussed about the mileage, as long as the car shows its been maintained properly, a higher mileage car with better maintenance can be in better condition than a lower mileage car with out. Not only that, my blue one got to me with UK dials showing 500k miles, 2 years ago, the old MOT said it had done just 102k miles, so unless someone had done something to the dials, i couldnt see the car doing 400k (especially for a 300zx) in 2 years lol
