  1. Well, first time taking my car up the strip at pod, really need to work on my launch as got no launch controller. had 4 runs in total went up against markdarby. i think we could of had bets on who was going to blow up first on that first run, i had my boost controller off for the first run as well, did 3 runs in the right hand lane, and the last in the left hand. Anyway here are my times. Run 1. 15.03 @101.67mph (boost controller off 9psi) Run 2. 14.93 @105.43mph (boost controller on high 18psi) Run 3. 14.43 @103.54mph (Boost controller on high 18psi) Run 4. 15.05 @93.5mph (boost controller on high 18psi) Kept bogging down on take off as not enough revs for a decent launch, and when watching the video replay back looks like i was just powering down a motor way rather than drag racing, also need to get my dials out and sort out my rev counter as the needle is sticking at the 4k revs mark making gear changes hard to judge. Oh and before you ask, mark won between us, but was still fun going up against another 300zx, i think that boot install really helped him stick that power down lol
  2. Best use photobucket for large amounts of videos and photos, pretty straight forward, sign up using email address or facebook account, upload videos and photos, and then grab the code for them and paste them in here.
  3. I'm already there lol currently in me car all wrapped up nice and warm in my duvet no cue for me lol
  4. Not sure why anyone is saying about the cash, if someone offered me more cash to do the same job else where, in this day an age id jump at the change, and anyone who says they wouldnt, needs to get there head tested.
  5. well i had a scout around the web, and seems a common thing with the emails and the galaxys its been like it since the S1.
  6. You will need a steering boss with any after market wheel, you can get some nice one's though and to be honest not all look that bad. This is the MOMO ive got in my blue zed.
  7. sad to see him go, but i support the team not the drivers, though British winning driver is always a plus, mclaren this year have been a bit off the pace, botched pit stops, car reliability, shame really
  8. dont get this problem with iphone lol sorry couldnt resist, anyway is there a email settings, might be something in there, never used email on my phone, get annoyed with it keep beeping at me and the number on the icon to say ive got mail. does me nut in lol
  9. Nope, this is what happened to it before it got sold defo not your zed mate. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151780898905602.863704.578125601&type=3
  10. does that mean you are buying that zed you found the other day?
  11. ive got a MOMO still on the blue zed, found out it costs £375  to buy brand new, will do you a swap for the isotta lol
  12. looks good, ive still got the Halo lights i did for my Old black zed, sitting in the garage, might actually get around to fitting them now ive got a front bumper i can remove LOL
  13. square strip lighting cover + dremel + 89spec rear lights. Take your lights off the car, take the small screw out from the middle of them, heat the oven to 220 degree's, place one light at a time into the oven, won't leave them in too long or they will start to melt / buckle the outer lens, make sure you do not rest them against the metal in the oven, a plate will work better, once they have been in for around 1min take it out using a spreading knife, start pealing the outer casing off the inner casing, it gets bloody messy due to the black glue nissan use to bind them together. keep popping them in and out of the oven, working the lens's free, make sure what ever you use is to be thrown as its a bitch to get that black glue off, and wear some gloves that 1. don't melt 2. you can throw away, keep working on them, don't rush it they will come apart eventually, once removed take the red and orange light strips and use them as a template, take your strip light cover and using the dremel cut it to shape using the original light diffuser as the template as already mentioned, once done you should have new white diffusers Place these into the lights, take the light unit and heat it back up in the oven, take the outer lens plastic and refit it back into the rear of the light unit, again takes a bit but to get it flush, you need to reheat that glue up, give it solid firm pressure but try not to crack that plastic, once done you should now have a set of rear lights that have clear lens's give them a good clean / buff / polish and refit it to the car. now just repeat for the other side. I did a set of fake 99spec's and they turned out great. the second time i did it, i actually melted the light unit as i forgot they where in the damn oven LOL, but was lucky i had a spare set. Just pay close attention to your lights when heating, as you only need to be heating the glue not melting the plastic lol and always remove that one screw off the back of them, or they will never come apart.
  14. that a single turbo conversion then? nissan 300zx turbo? lol
  15. :crying: Love the way yours does the same as mine, and says IPAD in the top corner, as if by magic you are going to forget what it is you are holding.

  17. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Oz-futura-18-Bmw-Hartge-BBS-Rs-Alpina-Split-rims-/140857363506?pt=UK_CarParts_Acc_Wheels_tyres_Trims_Car_Rims_ET&hash=item20cbc0cc32 there ya go. nice price
  18. seen them on another zed, are you sure they are not Vailside's like what jason has on the beast?
  19. you pay for the bids as well, so effectively you could win it for £6 plus what ever it cost you to place bids down on it. So say you got £10 worth of bids, (not sure how much a bid is on madbid) each bid was 50p thats 20 bids, if you dont win, thats cost you £10, they keep the cash you come away with nothing. If how ever you manage to bid and win, you could effectively win the item for £6 plus what ever it cost you to bid. Its a high risk bidding system where everyone who bids ends up paying towards the cost of the item but only one winner keeps it.
  20. drag image to desktop, once its on your desktop you have a few options. First is to upload it to photobucket.com and use the image code it gives you under the uploaded image that starts with clicking that will save it to your clipboard, then when replying you just right click and select paste, it should put the code into the reply box and then click post reply. Or there is the other option, click the little picture frame with the tree in it across the top bar of the quick reply box on the forum, select the image from your desktop and click "upload", wait till its finished, it will stick an [attachment] code into the reply box, even if its doesnt seem like its doing it, just click upload the once, or you will have repeats of the same image. you can do the same for any image you want to add, make sure to change it to upload from computer, and then just click the post quick reply button. HTH
  21. Ive ran in to a similar problem, on my blue zed (auto) the grommet where the accelerator cable comes through was used for the gauges, on the black one, you cant use that, its a factory manual and there seems to be a plate in the way on the inside drivers foot well stopping me using it, and engine bay side the rest of the clutch vacuum is in the way. How ever, this is behind the carpet in the drivers foot well behind the clutch / break area, there is a rubber grommet, comes out almost near the steering rack exit through the firewall, thats been used this time, which isnt the best option as its close to the turbos (though would probably be better for you) and you cant get your hand down there to retrieve any wires, you need to jack the car up and get to it from the underside. Ill be trying to route my power cable for my boot install soon, so will get some photos when i start stripping it all back
  22. HAHAHA gotta get me one of these XNBP18nrRdw
