  1. i meant would you be able to tell if you put them on mine, im trying to find some history of my car lol
  2. Do you know what cars you have fitted them too? as mine has GT525 turbos. Supporting mods, JWT ECU mapped for 555 injectors 555 nismo injectors K&N cone filter HKS boost controller (off = 9 psi, low 15 = psi, hi = 18psi, 310bhp, 388bhp, 424.6bhp respectively) Z1 side mount intercoolers Decat exhaust Uprated oil cooler Uprated radiator high flow radiator Unknown engine internals as of yet. The GT525 turbos, are a Z1 specialties, you ship your OEM turbos to them (or pay a core charge) they take your turbos, grind out the housing to a bigger A/R, they fit new bearings, new oil seals, new turbines, put them back together stamp them, ship them to you, and its a direct fit as they are the OEM housing with uprated internals.
  3. just watch, but be warned, try not to watch while eating. You need sound / headphones. This has to be one of the funniest sketches ive seen in a long while. cylsLhQaPFw
  4. i still think that can be saved, but it boils down to if you want to or not. though if you continue to park there, might be an idea to get something like this. This old chap saved his 911 from the grasp of hurricane sandy.
  5. if that is it, im sure it will survive, the nose panel with the filter in is out of the water unless the water level got higher. if its only as bad as in that picture, then the most will be soggy carpets, filled exhaust, wet underside, most of the electrics on the floor board will need to be checked and dried out, im sure thats fixable though, even if a little time consuming / disheartening. find out what the worst of it is and let me know, i still have the blue zed with decent interior carpet.
  6. the lower plenum would of been obscuring the view of it though, so if they missed it getting knocked in the lower plenum, they wouldn't of noticed it before the plenum got refitted.
  7. UK spec seat belts are where they normally should be, on the B pillar not on the door, so would depend on what zed he has, also later models moved the seat belts off the doors as well.
  8. Although it sounds like that, might be a good idea to find out what hes done first just to confirm it. lol
  9. Have you plumbed it in correctly, do you have any photos? and what front mount is it.
  10. Ive been looking for a decent set of 5 spoke in 19 for ages, even put mine up for swaps, but got no replies lol. i hate multi spoke alloys as cleaning them is a bloody nightmare, made even worse with the fact they had already suffered damage to the lacquer when i got them with the car, grrr.
  11. Same, quote by flux £4000, went down to £1500 after a phone (the only one i might add, same as stellaz there, 4 times ive gone for a quote online, only 1 phone call received), £1500 is still excessive when you consider im 34 with 7 years driving experiance and the only claim i have is a no fault but even that was AFTER i got quoted, im not some 19 year old teen who's just past his test whos trying to insure a 300zx tt import. Currently insured else where for £330 with a £150 excess and thats with all mods declared and fully comp with break down cover, plus the ability to buy back, and they will pay me 1/2 labour costs of the average of 2 quotes for repair, and give £500 towards parts, PLUS all legal costs covered. Sorry Dan, never had a good experiance with getting a quote from flux.
  12. i noticed that too, its quite small and goes with the theme of it having design inspiration taken from a F117 stealth bomber and the F22 stealth fighter.
  13. IF that ever makes it into production, i think that looks fooking stunning and would want one based purely on its looks lol, the only thing is, the likely hood it will make it into production is slim to none, and if it does it still wont have the same interior design and the body will have taken a drastic hit to its current characteristics. Annoying that they never put some of these concepts into production and not touch anything. there have been some stunning ones that would of made it seem like 2012 rather than a glam version for 1999
  14. Half zoom on the Mrs eye, full zoom the focus band is too narrow.
  15. Yep, pull the dip stick out, put a funnel in, and top up from there, check levels as you go Was pretty sure MT90 75-90 is what you need for the 300zx autobox.
  16. Yep, well least i know i can keep a secrete  and yes daffy it is nice to see it saved bud.
  17. naa its now my little boys pet lol, he wanted to keep it so we put it in a jar with some lettuce leaves and some soil, damn leaves dwarf it, but me boys is happy
  18. If you get in that and its a facebook vote, ill post the damn thing to zpeople on facebook, get all the yanks voting as well LOL
  19. Doesnt take that long to take a photo lol, couple of mins here and there between lunch break / breaks, and in the evenings, hell plenty of time as my car doesnt need fixing all the time now lol
  20. got my wide angle lens and my macro tubes today, they actually got delivered yesterday but i wasn't in so got delivered to the next door neighbor, Anyway thought id give it ago while i still had natural light as im missing a ring light system for my DSLR (its a ring light that fits on the end of the lens) Anyway, had to do some experimenting due to using shutter speed to get the required light, first attempt was this tiny snail on my balcony and even though its daylight out there, i had to use a slow shutter, with the macro lens on, auto focus and aperture settings are useless, as the rings sit between the body of the camera and the lens its self, severing the electrical connections so everything is manual. Anyway, here it it. so first photo, had to trade light gathering for shutter speed as the snail was moving so would blur if the shutter wasn't fast enough. Snail on my finger (you can get an idea just how small it was here) and thought id try a 5p
  21. Well if it is the recession then i believe that Mr Cameron might want to stop looking in his own bank account and his own over inflated pension plan and try a bit of what its like to live on the bread line, how can we NOT be in a recession when its now 3% benefits, and 50% people in work claiming housing benefit. surely that in its self should raise alarm bells that people are not doing too well in this so called "non rescission" part of the year. Now add on top of that Factory closures, a hike in heating costs (thanks British gas), fuel prices creeping up all the time, oh hell if i listed everything the website would over load.
  22. wasnt a very good secret ive know since he got the car, i just didnt say anything lol
  23. My OMP seats are welded to the OEM seat runner, so i still have adjustment, but they use the same bolt holes as the normal seats, have to admit the weld isn't pretty bud does the job
