  1. Ok, in fairness, they give a nice low rumble at idle, but then you rev it, and OMG it sounds lovely. but as i said, like a nas car lol Check my ride for what they look like on the car, they are rather large ports and make the back end look so much better IMHO
  2. Say your taking it to the garage for softer springs. head off to a mates house or something else for a few hours, take it back and say, "they changed them" and when she goes for a ride if she complanes its still to firm just reply "thats the softest springs they do for lowered shocks and that your suspension can only handle certain springs. lol Just pray shes not to car savvy,
  3. I believe mine being a 1990, could be classed as a series 1 , and no it has no warning light on the dash.
  4. They will be, until you tighten them up with the tentioners lol
  5. Si doesnt, but i do lol Mongoose blueflame oval is what i just took off my last car ready for my TT. quite is not the word id use to discribe it lol. sounds more like a nas car.
  6. HTC touch HD 1 off ebay, should be able to pick one up quite cheapish now.
  7. I agree with this. two of my best all round smart phones Iphone 3GS HTC Touch HD 1 or 2, blinding bits of kit and i love these two phones just as much as a iphone. these phones do not get the credit they deserve. and if someone said i could have a Iphone or a HTC touch HD for free, but only one, id be hard pressed to know what one to have.
  8. Lovely zed but......... you need some clear side repeaters. and does anyone know where to get the ones for the rear bumper from? My New Zed is now 300zx.co.uk stickerless as well. though ive used mine on the last one replacing the old ones that were already on it.
  9. cant see why it should be, everything is pritty much the same under the bonnet, its targas / bumper and seat belts that are different. but then someone will correct me if im wrong, and id say wait for more responces before you take my word as gospel lol
  10. UPDATE TIME :D Right just been and completely gutted the inside of my car and did some strange angles and positions to get at this fuse box. my god is it tight down there.... Anyway, disconnected everything around the fuse box and took it completely out of the car. as suspected all the fuses are fine. i then turned it over and was met by a few relays. unplugged them all and inspected thoroughly, everything looks fine and dandy, BUT wait, there was a tiny blue one, out of place to the rest. as it was much smaller, plugged into a slot with the indent LC, this had a corroded pin on it. well took the fuse box apart and cleaned said pin slot, did the fuse box back up, and put it back in the car with out this small blue relay. Now I'm not sure what I've done, whether its I've moved one of the blue relays or one of the brown relays, but my pod now works, and for some reason (although more testing is required on this one) my turbo has stopped smoking? *for now at least* I have left the little blue relay out. and everything else seems to be working correctly on the car, i have A/C / wipers / illumination / headlights / fog lights / hazards / radio / seat / turbo timer / horn, in fact everything is still working fine and I'm at a loss as to what this little blue relay does? and why it would even effect the turbo? it spools up as i can hear the nice little whistle when it does so. it just doesn't kick out half a ton of white smoke now. Can anyone enlighten me on what this relay does? as it might of just saved me having to replace a turbo. but ill give it a few more tests first. might just be coincidence.
  11. pfft thats not what your PM said ;) lol
  12. im missing my lowered look i can tell you, just not missing the fact i couldnt get a jack under it lol
  13. And what baz said lol but with pictures
  14. Open the bonnet and have a look at the top of the strut, adjustable coil overs have the adjuster on the top. Coil overs are one complete unit, and should be changed as one when the shock starts to leak, normal suspension on the other hand, you can change the spring seperate to the shock. Can you get a good picture up of the strut top?
  15. Np matey, anyway go on enjoy your birthday lol
  16. If they want to sell 3DTV's all they have to do is bring out the adult channels in 3D, they would sell millions in the first hour lol
  17. Time clock is a comman fault and not related to the fuse, it's a resistor on the inside if the clock that goes, there is a link floating about on how to fix it, but I'll dig it out for you tomorrow. As for oil pressure i can't say I paid much attention to the stock one tbh
  18. Sunny old Wellingborough lol jolly old place as long as your grass is nailed down and the garden fence is wired to the police station (was on friends face book that someone stole her fence lol) Well ok it's not that bad but makes you wonder why peter ebdon moved, which is a shame as I liked to watching him thrash me at the private snooker hall I used to play in lol
  19. Yep going to be upside down in the foot well tomorrow then lol thank you for the info everyone I'll let you know how I get on
  20. He doesn't want to see the willy waving matey lol, maybe at the next zed meet.
  21. Lol no would never happen.
  22. bit bloody demanding ain't ya?
  23. lol it used to be silver, who ever sprayed it used a yellow primer ? and there is no lacquer on it. but a good place to start from. oooh and its a TT feck yeah. its 20 years old, but going to go for a full revamp. first up turbos sorting out. I must state, I Believe the engine bay to be black as well. but it might just be dirt yet. a good solid clean is going to reveal all.
  24. I take it your car is that low, you feel all the bumps in the road. sounds like you might have stiffened springs on there as well then. could try softer springs if your dampers are ok. As far as im aware, coil overs, are basically the whole unit name for damper with spring already attached, (someone will correct me if im wrong here) lowering springs will lower the car and push the dampers down, giving them less travel. softer springs will give you the floaty feeling, but can effect cornering and grip Harder springs will give a firmer ride, but improve handling and grip thats if i got that right. been a while since i did anything with suspension.
