Where's Ian (Vodkashots)?
Hi guys, back now One strange Christmas and a boring new year in with the kids. top it off crappy weather then a trip to London to see my relatives. Need to get this breaker sorted out i know some of you are waiting on parts off it. and now we have no snow and i can pull it out of the garage and get some power tools on it with out the fear of electrocution or hypothermia ill get into gear and crack on with it. Hope you all had a good Christmas and new year, i stayed in with the kids and watch London try and have another great fire with all the fireworks. It is nice to be missed though made me feel all fuzzy inside. PS, I missed you all too, especially daz my one true love.

How cold
lowest ive seen is the zed reading -14 a week back in the morning when i was trying to scrape ice off the windscreen. that was at 8am, by 1pm it had risen to a nice -1 which at that temp i was out sun bathing on the balcony as it had warmed up lovely. recently its been hovering around the -8 mark at night and between -1 and 2 degrees during the day.

i ran it from beta, through to RC1 up until about 3 weeks ago. never had a problem with it slowing down. system maintenance once a week is all it needs. click the safety tab in IE, and delete browsing history, set it to run a defrag one night and leave it to do it, and do a check disk every now and then. If you have a problem with it slowing down, then sorry but it must be something your doing with it that i am not. I've put vista on a lot of customers PC's as part of my business and I've yet to have people come back due to problems with the OS. 75% of all PC problems are user related the other 25% are software / hardware. For the past 2 years I've never used a virus scanner either. those things hog your system a lot, another system hog is Windows live messenger. if you want proof of that, turn off "auto start when system starts" in windows live messenger and see how much fast ANY OS starts up.

this is how you get a bmw unstuck
Just proved how people are though, instead of going out to help the girl out, they stay in the house and film it to stick it on the web. Then you get the comment "shes a idiot" while making the most idiotic comment of "don't knock the house down", like shes going to be able to knock the house down with a BMW traveling at 3 mph. Sorry, but i feel that if the numpties in the house (its not your video is it stallaz?) actually went and helped her, may be she wouldn't of had to try what she did. Although i find that putting your car mats down under the wheels and driving slowly tends to get you dislodged from situations like that.

windows vista is a good operating system, i cant see why people complain about it. It was supposed to be designed from the ground up - as project longhorn but it wasn't, instead they had a rethink and started with windows xp and worked from there. the biggest problem with windows vista, was when it was launched no one had drivers available for it, even though there was a beta for ages. Then we had companies like Creative, who saw fit to stop supporting older sound cards by not providing drivers for windows vista and tried to cash in on vista by saying that there older cards didn't run when they did and that to get a creative experience with in windows they would need to upgrade the sound cards to the new X-Fi range (even though they used just modified drivers of the Sound blaster drivers and could run the older cards). Vista always ran how it was supposed to and to be honest my experience with it was a good one. my problems with vista came from 3rd party companies for failing to use the beta time to get drivers sorted out and not with vista its self. Then people couldn't get to grips with vista asking everything all the time, when in reality the reason that it was implemented was for the sake of the end user, having got so many complaints from people because they were stupid enough to delete the contents of there windows system32 folder under windows xp, Microsoft added a system where by it wouldn't allow you too, a system that windows 7 still has in place but is more "hidden" Then there was the miss conception that vista was a system hog. when all vista was now doing, was something mac's had been doing for ages. yet when Microsoft did it, it was a system hog, when apple did it, it was innovation. Vista stores in memory your most used programs, and then when you select that program again, it actually does speed up the loading times, as it doesn't have to rip the program from your HD to the ram to get everything running, something mac's OS had been doing for a long time. why have ram sitting in your machine empty half the time being waisted like xp does?, when you could put it too good use and have it store your most opened programs. I also loved the arguments for "vista is slower than XP", there was test done on vista machines vs xp machines, and to be perfectly honest although vista was slower, it was by very small amounts, something that unless you were sitting there with a stop watch and timing everything, the normal user wasn't going to notice. As for the user control that asks you to do everything. i welcomed it, no more stealth installs of programs from websites as vista always asked, and if you thought it was taking too long, you could aways turn it off but at the expense of your security. My only gripe with vista was in the early months it was virtually impossible to get the damn thing to network with a windows xp machine. but once the service pack came out, that issue was fixed.

Whats your MPG!!
Well it all boils down to efficiency i suppose. these cars just are not efficient enough. they are losing something somewhere. weight would play a big part at 1.5ton its a heavy car to get moving. then you have things like ware and tear and age. plus you have to work with friction as well. most of us stick hoofing wide tires on, then it would all boil down to how well the bearing systems are. im sure for a engine to turn something a lot of torque is required. that would translate into how much work the engine has to do. The E36 is lighter. and the E46 m3 is made with efficiency in mind. though i could be miles off

anybody wanna see my pussy?
My cats great, loves to spend as much time out (even in the snow) than indoors. shes just a dirty stop out to be honest. apart from the meowing to get back in for some grub, she pretty much does her own thing. But at night when she wants to get all cozy she will quite happily snuggle up and boot you off the sofa so she can stretch out. The only problem with my cat is she has a tendency when guests are around to walk into the living room, roll on the floor until everyone is looking and going "awwww how cute" then sit up cock her leg over her ear and lick her butt hole.

The best thing about this weather

rear lens reflector
I think some clarification is in order, are you on about the little reflector that sits in the brake light area, or are you on about the colored plastic that covers the break light (red) or the indicator (orange 89spec / White 99spec) if you are on about the little oval reflector, then you are going to damage the clear outer getting it out as its stuck in good. if you are on about the inserts, then they are glued in with the same black crap that keeps the outer clear plastic on the lights and will come off with a little heat applied.

Zed crashes and catches fire street racing in Japan?
the jap spec has a better safety rating than the 350z due to the seat belts being on the door, don't ask me how, but its safer than the UK spec one too.

You know christmas is coming when..
i can not post mine, its too rude, but just google Kevin bloody Wilson and hit videos and look for anything christmassy orientated, you will know the one I'm on about lol. now i know its not to everyone's tastes but i have fond memories of someone bring it in to french class and having it playing the cassette decks we had at each table (don't ask me, something about practising french by recording what you did and playing it back to the class?)

Zed crashes and catches fire street racing in Japan?
they the same alloys as Baz has on his? Not a good crash though, must of been running NOS for the car to go up in flames like that. So from what i can tell, the zed slid across the road, spat its occupant out who died. caught fire. then the first skyline avoided the zed, impacted the barrier and caught fire. the 3rd skyline then hit the back of the zed, then hit the barrier, rolled over and back onto its wheels where it rested against the opposite barrier. 2 fatalities and 3 injured.
