santapod is a part of our local community always has been, i live in wellingborough the same town that shares the address of santa pod, if something like this had happened it would of been in the LOCAL news today. and its not. also why wouldn't santa pod put it on there own website asking for people to come forward with information, im sure they wouldn't just sit by and say "ho well" due to it not being a "racing car", and would be asking people visiting the website for information to be brought forward, after all this was supposed to of been taken from there property with no one noticing. Im sure a proactive approach would go down with people a lot better than keeping it all hush hush like nothing had happened.

im finding this hard to believe to be quite honest. as santapod is just 6 miles away from me in podington, so the news would be very local to my area, and there is nothing in the local paper or on its website to suggest that a theft has taken place of such a car. Im sure if it was my vehicle id want it in the local news to make people fully aware locally that its been taken incase anyone saw what happened to it, after it left santa pod. its not like its a ordinary drift car. and i highly doubt it wouldn't of gone unnoticed due to lack of plates. Also doesnt any one find it strange that there is no news on santa pods website? is it showing in bios? and what version of windows are you running?

you should only have to do all that if the drive isn't being recognised, if it is but not formatted (though most new harddrives are already set up to be seen by windows) its just a simple case of plugging it in, starting windows, going to my computer, right clicking the hard drive, and then selecting format, with a brand new one you don't even have to do a full format, just a quick one will do as it writes the MBR, and tells windows how much space to allocate. If all else fails you can slap your windows disk in the drive, go through the process as if your going to install windows, and when it gives you the option to (depending what windows your running) select the drive again and format from there. if its win7 or vista it should format with out starting the windows install instantly.
