It could be a build up of condensation in the exhaust, when you took the back boxes off, did you tip them up to see if any water came out? i had a problem with my black zed that used to shoot 4 foot of water out of the tail pipes, when i eventually changed the back boxes there was 1 and a half litres of water in them lol has your car sat for a long period of time? as it could still be holding water in the cats if you have them on the car still and please dont turn this thread into a for sale one, as registered users are not permitted to sell on the forums matey, welcome to the club though.

Use component, job done then, no faffing about with HDMI, and the signal is just as good quality, Component signal also handles 1080i and 1080p plus you get the option of getting an older TV like and EDTV that handles 1080p over component. Im running my Xbox 360 over a 42inch plasma, through component (Y - Pb - Pr connection) you also do not suffer picture loss over long cables. and before any one says that HDMI is better, please read this article http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/hdmi-vs-component,review-29615.html They are the same in picture quality on a short cable, but both offer advantages over the other. so depends what you want to do to be honest, but for video gaming, it really shouldn't matter, both will out put a very good and strong HD image. So al, before you go upgrading your TV check to see if it can already support Component.

Not sure where 30k got spent on that to be honest, unless a lot of that was the ice install, i mean for 30k, id at least expect them to NOT over spray the entire inside of the wheel arch. I think this is the best angle, but there are things that could be done a lot better, i think the orange is overkill to be honest, way to much. Change the back bumper, change that tail gate tube, sort out a bit less orange on the interior and it wouldn't be too bad, ooh and change the alloys and at least give them some stance and it would be quite a nice motor. I just cant understand where the 30k has gone?

Bit of miss information going on around here, Not all LWB exhausts have so many joins. Blue flame mongoose for instance, is a straight through pipe from the cat join to the back boxes. Where as the mongoose they sell on zcenter, is split at the mid section. There are many different exhaust available, the one i have forsale you would not be able to put onto a japspeed decat system that has divorced waist gates for instance as the joins are completely different. As with any exhaust system, its best to check the mounting ends to make sure they will pair together.

well since owning 5 Zeds, ive been spotted once on the way home from getting my red one (3rd zed) and also bumped into big_300, in thrapston as i was about to enter the A14east bound, he was coming off the slip road from west bound. other than that, all other zeds have either turned up at my house, or ive gone to see them. so yeah, bit of a rarity to be honest. get used to it :lol:

thats not premium unleaded though surely. 1.41 sounds more like premium. i find i get more miles from premium fuel than i do 95ron stuff. may be because the engines are designed to utilise the higher octane more i suppose.

problem i had was cylinder 6 not firing at all, ok i subsequently found out it was firing, but there was a whole in the piston, but don't count on that being your problem. Reason i say it, was i had the same advice - check the wiring, only problem with that, is its a brand spanking new wiring loom on my blue one, but check the spark plug, it might be in its final stages of life.

Well, hopefully my new engine arrives next week so i can crack on and get my car on the road. so before it goes in, i have a few bits to change. ive got all the shiny stuff to take off my old engine to put on the new one. But while the engine is out i want to do a bit of tidying. now im stuck for getting the front bumper off unless i take both wings off. so any deletes with parts hidden behind the wings / front bumper the bits are going to have to stay, so anyway a few questions does anyone have a diagram for the new vac pipe route once ive deleted things? Also, does anyone make the blanking off plates for the plenum once ive removed the EGR? Also, what size bolt am i going to need to blank off the EGR to manifold pipe once its removed? want to get as much info on this as possible so i dont end up with trouble starting the engine once ive done all this and the new engine is in the motor.

Your not the only one mate, I've got a number plate hider, not as fancy mind you, but it does fit in the glove box when not needed, its called a screwdriver :lol:

As baz says, Blue is for UK cars and easier to source, and most companies if going through your insurance will say that they can only get Blue glass, so if yours is jap spec, say that it needs the bronze one as thats what the car came with and stick to your guns on that. If its a UK spec then blue it is and its far cheaper and less of a wait. but auto glass are rip off merchants to be honest. they quoted me £700 and £300 of that was for the side windscreen trims that i didn't need as mine already had them. Shop around with local windscreen fitters to be honest mate as long as you dont mind having blue glass, expect to pay around £200 to £250 is what id call reasonable, the one i had fitted to my black zed (blue glass as it was UK spec) i paid £216, that was fitted with vat as well, but bear in mind, VAT was 15% at that point. Expect to pay more for bronze glass, and wait some time for it too arrive, as it has to come from japan.

strange, my old red one was lowered by 2 inches all around and absolutely no adjusters on it any where. the front camber was fine, tyre wear was across the whole of the tires, and same on the rear, though the rear did have a nice camber on them, but again, even wear across the whole of the tyre.

I got a card and a few cuddles off the little ones, though being 3 and 1 and 6 months, i didnt really expect much to be honest. just being appreciated was good enough for me. :)

With my red one, i found £6 and loads of dirt after removing the carpets and the drivers seat. so quick hoover and it was back to this. My blue one i found £3.67 :lol: though thats a UK spec one.
