  2. Ok stop rubbing it in
  3. not sure where you get your info from mate, but you do have a medical for depression, 2 of my mates went for it, and got signed fit for work, both were taking antidepressants, one was citriampram or how ever you spell it, the was taking something else. I suppose it depends what government medical person you get at the time. i know what you mean though, it is annoying when you pay into the system and some tosser who cant get off drugs or drink, or someone having babies just for a fecking house or cash get given everything. while old working joe blogs doesnt even get free dental or prescriptions. Ive been on the dole, its not a nice place to be, im only doing part time work at the moment, but its enough to keep me from being signed on. but still not fun when trying to bring up two kids plus get a car back on the road.
  4. I have had whiplash to the point i couldn't move my head for almost 2 weeks, and to be honest i still think until they find some way of proving it, then the issue needs to be addressed, people saying they have whiplash in a small rear shunt that would not give them whiplash, i find disgusting to be honest. i didn't claim whiplash as i was too young at the time (11 years old), not only that i wasn't in a car, i was on a push bike when a car rammed the back of me, i went up onto the bonnet and hit my head on the windscreen, then when he did brake, i slid off the bonnet on to the floor cracking my tail bone, all because the guy driving was changing a tape in his stereo and didn't see me. But i have been in a rear end shunt, was in rushden, sitting at lights in the back of my mates car, when another hit the back of us, none of us claimed whiplash as we just wasnt hit hard enough. Not sure Legal Aid will cover the new proposals. and i hope it doesnt, don't know about you, but im fed up with increased insurance premiums due to other people.
  5. You sir are a fecking genius, copying that to note pad :D

  9. daffy if you sell her, ill hunt you down (still got your address lol) and die your hair pink. But, as you asked, don't sell the parts you bought with it, sell them separately, but seriously DONT DO IT.
  10. gets me all moist inside, but really should do something about those tiny exhaust exits, even if its just get a quad exit mongoose system and keep the original in the garage.
  11. gary, you like it that much, you said the same thing twice? lol
  12. bloody well annoying. think i liked the new proposals though. might make people think a bit more about applying for a claim against whiplash.
  13. tbh, thats how all 300zx's should of came from the factory like.
  14. The great car insurance swindle on bbc1?
  15. im inlove with that interior. stunning.
  16. more the merrier to be honest mate, im taking it as constructive criticism for when i do it again on the spare. :D All hints and tips welcome.
  17. well, it will do for now, i have another one thats on the old engine, so will be polishing that up, im using this one as a test bed to see if i can actually polish something. so doesnt have to be perfect. ill attempt that on the one on the old engine. In fairness though, the camera is picking up a lot more than i can see.
  18. converter is usually mounted to the read of the cluster, When checking with the satnav, just remember your sat nav is going to be more accurate than the cluster, (it is on everything but a traffic police car) you will find your are doing usually 4 to 5mph slower than your sat nav if its reading properly
  19. Boost gauge is plumbed into the vacuum pipe in the engine bay, T piece in between the boost sender and the balance bar. then wire in the illumination Check your paper work to see if it does indeed have a KPH to MPH converter. should tell you on a bit of paper what the KPH on the engine was at the time it was converted and also what to take off the current odometer reading to get a idea of the correct mileage. Not all imports have the converter installed by the importer. my first 300zx didnt.
  20. because its a import lol, almost all imports into the UK are jap imports, so makes sense for them to be fitted with jap clocks due to showing correct mileage, if it hasn't got a MPH converter on it, it would still be reading in KPH UK clocks are hard to come by as they get snapped up by those with imports, means you don't have to have the KPH to MPH converter on it, as the clocks sort out the correct speed readings. Most imports are a mixture of KPH and miles on the odometer as well.
  21. nice bit of good luck for you matey, :D congratulations.
