  1. get a second hand sky box with viewing card and dish, you dont have to subscribe and you still get a lot of decent channels with out the picture break up. i have a spare sky + box if you can get hold of a dish matey, all you will need then is the direction to point the dish and angle, which should be avalible on the web.
  2. manta i can not read your threads due to the woman in your sig either sniffing her ass or eating a clingon.
  3. might be up for this if i can get my damn car on the road soon. aarrgggh!
  4. well, once ive welded mine up and sorted out the driver side sill, and the bit in the passenger side wheel arch, mine will actually be rust free again, so hasnt done to bad for a UK spec.
  5. Jap zeds can have just as much rust mate, just because its jap spec doesnt make it immune to the rust bug, take a look at my first zed, this is a JAP spec N/A
  6. try the fan when its cold (by hand when the engine ISNT running lol), it should be quite stiff to turn, it loosens up as the engine heats the clutch up are you sure its the vascous you can hear and not the one stuck to the aircon rad under the nose panel? Not sure im going to need the turbo parts at the moment, ended up buying new turbos off of kinugawa which hopefully will be arriving this week so i can get them on the new engine.
  7. id say your timing light is flashing at the wrong time, are you getting the pick up from the PTU loop? or directly off of coilpack 1?
  8. check the fan when its spinning, is the centrifugal force making it vibrate as this will kill a water pump quite quickly, also check to see if the clutch on the fan is toast, did you change the clutch with the fan? are the bolts holding the fan clutch to the water pump pulley out slightly? they should all protrude the same length from the pulley. another thing to check, is the belt too tight? as for the 3k revs, sounds like a maf fault, but could be due to the boost controller, do you have a vac leak anywhere?
  9. highly unlikely as there is a "key" on the crank shaft that the pulley slides onto.
  10. i think you need a more simpler gun lol check to see if you can see the timing mark when its set to 0. do you have the documentation for the gun? as you need to know what the timing mark is with out the gun interfering with the reading.
  11. gauge on the gun? the gun should flash when it detects a pulse from the coil pack 1 You shine the light at the crank pulley, there will be a mark on that, that should show on the timing plate on the lower cam cover, unless you don't have a lower cam cover. when warm it should be set to 15degrees top dead center.
  12. i love it when someone advertises that the car has only 68k on the clock, then you open the bonnet and clock the silver sticker from when the cambelt was changed in japan and it says "changed at 86k" lol
  13. Its the beets 300zx demo car for the beets / ablfug body kit that costs £4k and id love that kit on my car. not seen another zed with a pin stripe, but that one carries it very well. though i just love that whole car lol so im biased
  14. i think the other thing that puts people off, is that stupid sales statement "first to view will buy" like you don't have a choice in the matter, i find that statement rather rude and avoid cars where the owner uses it.
  15. would just like to add, i started out on a iphone contract with orange and still didn't have very good Internet package with out paying the £75 per month for the contract, so i opted for the £45 per month package, which didn't cater for the fact that the iphone is pretty much pointless with out the use of the Internet. I then paid my contract off and went to orange pay as you go in the hopes it would be better, but having had a dongle on the 3 network for some time for my laptop, it just made more sense to switch my phone over to them, i then had to pay orange £20 to unlock my OWN iphone to any network so its now factory unlocked even though i bought it off them when i paid up my contract. To say "not happy about the service" is an understatement. when i changed my phone number over to my pay as you go 3 sim, i also go £10 free calling credit. 3 customer service is free to ring from your 3 sim card, unlike orange who charge 0.25p and if you get cut off mid call, or have to ring them back, they charge it again, so unless you have credit on your phone you cant ring them, not very good if you have a problem with the network and need to speak to them to get it sorted out. Also the adult filter on orange was crap, i just couldn't get on the 300zx.co.uk website from my orange phone due to age restrictions, trying to get them to unlock the phone to allow 18 rated sites so i could get on this very website meant i had to go into the orange store, show my id, THEN ring customer service so they could verify it??? surely orange shop could of lifted the restrictions while i was there instead of me having to waist 0.25p to contact customer services after id presented my self in the shop with my driving licence? 3 was much easier, i just connected to this site with out anything redirecting me to say that it was 18 rated? and even when i went into the 3 store to get the restriction lifted for torrent sites, it was as simple as standing there with my drivers licence, giving them my phone number, one text and a phone reset later and all was good. So for convenience it was as easy as just nipping into town and flashing my ID, while i got on and did everything else i needed to do. i wasted 0.25p on orange to find out i had to take a trip into to town, i then wasted premium petrol to go into town, for them to say that i then had to waste another 0.25p ringing customer service back to get the restriction lifted. now ok 0.50p isnt going the break the bank, but when im trying to use that credit as a means to talk to my friends, why should i have to use it to verify my bloody age after using my own petrol to go into town just so a guy at orange can say ive now got to ring customer services back and get charged again? Any charge no matter how big or small, is intolerable when trying to get the most use out of your own phone. what annoyed me the most, is orange know full well my age as i took a contract out with them, but due to network policy, they have a different department for contract and another for pay as you go, and the two do not seem to share information about the same customer with in the same company? with orange i paid £689 to get out of my contract, a ferther £20 to get my phone unlocked, and then a ferther 0.75p to get restrictions lifted and get my PAK code to change network. With 3 so far, ive paid nothing to use my sim card (not counting calling credit) to full effect.
  16. 3 is excellent to be honest, and they don't charge a tethering fee. Stevo if you go to my3 and select buy addon, and get the Internet monthly addon for £5 you get 2 gig of data allowance that lasts 30days. hasnt been a place in the country i have been too where i do not get a 3 signal. 3 have improved dramatically, a lot better over orange as well for instance for £10 credit, i get 300 three to three minutes so i can speak to another 3 user free of charge, 150meg internet allowence on the top up, and 300 any network texts, plus my £10 calling credit, then if i go to addons, i can get the internet montly allowence of 2gig for £5 which is perfect for an iphone, and the network speed is fast as hell, even when tethered.
  17. well i used to have this as my desktop, but the quality isnt very good as the photo isnt big enough
  18. This is my current desktop photo.
  19. i just changed over from orange to the 3 network, as 3 do better Internet addons that compliment the iphone a lot better. Cant complain with 2gig of data allowance on iphone for the price of a £5 for a month, plus the added benifit of being able to plug the iphone into your PC and use it as a modem means internet on the go.
  20. ooh, send one more, and do it recorded delivery this time.
  21. never known a ECU to feck an injector up, especially only the one, sounds like something else is at fault here. Love how he is saying about your attitude over something that still lasted him 2 and a half months, if it was brand spankers id expect it to be covered by a years warranty. I think you have helped enough out side of charging him.
  22. You need to subscribe to be able to pm matey
  23. you need to put a cushion into the bucket, ive got a spare rear seat and was going to see about getting some moulds made up that slot into the rear seat and flatten it off. My children are 1 and a half and 3 years 4months old. i use the larger heavy plastic car seats that have their own harness system, im not going to risk my children's lives to a lap belt. If yours are older than that, i say get a cushion and put the booster seat ontop, try to get one that isn't that slippy or every time you break there ass might slide forward lol
  24. i put both my kids in, when i had a japspec car, i put UK seat belts in, you will need to have the seat belt, the rear seat interior trim and top window plastic trim and the bit the seat belts clips into (as they are different sizes) to fit them. you can then put booster seats in properly, don't put the kids in the back seats using the lap belts as its illegal with out a child support seat.
