  1. No problem bud I did say only pay when you were happy with it, with such good compression on the other cylinders though I'd be inclined to find out what's up with cylinder 6
  2. petrol gauge will reset to how much is in the tank on its own you just need to turn the key to the acc position and wait. as for the temp gauge, are you sure you wired every thing up correctly? sounds like you have either knocked the needle (as per marks comment) or have wired something up wrong.
  3. Its not really happyhardcore any more either :( I actually miss my raving days, aah the memory of standing in that bloody Que at dream scape at the sanctuary Milton Keynes, shame the UK will never see a venue like that again. sodding awesome.
  4. Right would just like to point out on the "thread search" crap. Zedzilla, we are a enthusiasts forum, if someone has a question, let them ask it, yes we have a search function available, not all the time it gives the answers to the questions people are asking, sometime they just need a bit more reassurance before they commit. As for someone wanting to do the brakes on their own car, let them thats not for you to decide, you do not know him any more than he knows you, saying "if your asking those questions then you shouldn't be doing it", would you of said the same to me when i asked about dropping the engine on my zed? just because i asked, doesnt mean i do not know what im doing. its called "confirming" We do not hold a policy of "don't ask unless you have searched" like some forums, also the moderating team are quite capable of saying someone should of used the search function if we feel the need to. So please, if your in any doubt about how to post on the forum, please feel free to get acquainted with our AUP, link is provided in my Sig, another out burst like that directed to new members will result in an infraction being given.
  5. Wrong bud, not europop, not with that line up of artists, its Happyhardcore.
  6. Research on bread indicates that: 1. More than 98 percent of convicted felons are bread users. 2. HALF of all children who grow up in bread-consuming households score below average on standardized tests. 3. In the 18th century, when virtually all bread was baked in the home, the average life expectancy was less than 50 years; infant mortality rates were unacceptably high; many women died in childbirth; and diseases such as typhoid, yellow fever, and influenza ravaged whole nations. 4. More than 90 percent of violent crimes are committed within 24 hours of eating bread. 5. Bread is made from a substance called "dough." It has been proven that as little as one pound of dough can be used to suffocate a mouse. The average British person eats more bread than that in one month! 6. Primitive tribal societies that have no bread exhibit a low incidence of cancer, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's disease, and osteoporosis. 7. Bread has been proven to be addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water to eat begged for bread after as little as two days. 8. Bread is often a "gateway" food item, leading the user to "harder" items such as butter, jelly, peanut butter, and even cold cuts. 9. Bread has been proven to absorb water. Since the human body is more than 90 percent water, it follows that eating bread could lead to your body being taken over by this absorptive food product, turning you into a soggy, gooey bread-pudding person. 10. Newborn babies can choke on bread. 11. Bread is baked at temperatures as high as 400 degrees Fahrenheit! That kind of heat can kill an adult in less than one minute. 12. Most british bread eaters are utterly unable to distinguish between significant scientific fact and meaningless statistical babbling. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In light of these frightening statistics, it has been proposed that the following bread restrictions be made: 1. No sale of bread to minors. 2. A nationwide "Just Say No To Toast" campaign, complete celebrity TV spots and bumper stickers. 3. A 300 percent tax on all bread to pay for all the societal ills we might associate with bread. 4. No animal or human images, nor any primary colors (which may appeal to children) may be used to promote bread usage. 5. The establishment of "Bread-free" zones around schools. This article was written by B.S. Wheatberry in a desert after consuming mass quantities of yeast bread then realizing his canteen was empty. (seriously :P )
  7. unless you have less resistant dynamos and just use more of them lol
  8. remember those dynamo lights you used to get for push bikes? (the faster you rode, the brighter the light) why don't they just strap one of them to each wheel, charge the battery's up and off you go, let the dynamo's recharge the batteries from the wheels as its moving, you would have infinite power then (yes yes i know they would have to produce more charge than whats coming out, but surely its doable?) self charging vehicle with unlimited milage..
  9. they are usually softness adjusters on the top if you can turn them with clicks, time to start testing. set it to half way and see if it improves the ride quality. do you know what make your shocks are?
  10. would still be able to do that if he was willing to wait till JAE, would drum up some interest in the 300zx, could possibly get it in a mag as well, only problem id see with that, people would be expecting the funds raised to go towards a charity or something, not sure people would favour the idea of helping someone sell there car lol
  11. thats very similar (almost word for word) of another advert that was posted on here a while ago, still makes me chuckle though
  12. I think your missing the point. its to do with safety, people shouldn't be gambling with other peoples lives, large groups of people + a car on fire, id call that concern for safety. Sorry matey, but had the car gone up in flames and injured or killed someone, i doubt people would be praising him, also had the fire marshals done nothing to stop him and something like that happened, im sure the organisers wouldn't be holding any events right now as they try to figure out why no one said anything to him. By ignoring the fire marshal, all he did was show how much of a plank he is, it was not very mature what he did and shouldn't be praised or encouraged.
  13. that might be the case, but having worked at SantaPod, and my mrs dad still works there, if someone is told to shut down, its purely for safety measures and he should of respected that simple as to be honest, bit selfish of him not to do as told IMHO, its a motor sport and he should of acted a bit better than that when lives are at risk. Hes in side the car, they are outside, they have a event to run and the safety of their spectators and customers come first over the ego of some dude sitting in his car.
  14. basically in his qualifying burn out he got told to shut his car down as it was on fire, he ignored the fire Marshall and proceeded to do his run which he was then disqualified for, this was the incident that occurred after, he forced him self onto the tract to do burn outs and then was dragged out by security. Problem here, is that he defied the fire marshal, had his car blown up after disobeying and people got injured / killed im sure we would all be saying hes a tosser.
  15. Will agree with this statement, if you are after a very cheap run around, you cant go wrong with a Citroen xantia, not the best looking of cars, but cheap as hell and if you get the diesel with a bosch pump instead of a lucas pump, you can run it on pure rape seed oil at considerably cheaper cost than diesel.
  16. only problem with the BMW is the costs if anything goes wrong. but other wise a good reliable work horse, no matter if a majority of the time some donk drives one lol (no offence to any BMW drivers on here :))
  17. im sure there is a protective substance you can get for the inside of your car, bit like waxoil that you put on the underside to protect it. might be an idea of doing the same before you put it all back together :)
  18. i voted all of them lol though im not in your area :(
  19. reason your carpet will be dry is the water will end up in the gap between the inner skin (that the carpet sits against) and the outter skin (the bit that rots at the rear sill on the inside) might be an idea to get the seats out, take as much carpet up at the edges as possible and see if you have water sloshing about in there, because if you do it will eat your car from inside to out. (you will see what i mean when you start getting the carpet up at the edges, you have to remember the fuse box is recessed.
  20. Nvm though with all the guesses Tazz had it's no suprise he got it lol
  21. Or do we have to be more specific as Im on iPhone so can't type all the blooming names out, though it might be the shunted class
