  2. Jimmer its the spocket that I need I have a new oil pump, is it best to just buy a new one?
  3. Close but no turkey it is a cam belt cog that sits behind the big belt pulley. Thanks anyhows im sure someone on here knws a trick to get the sucker off.
  4. As soon as we can, I would like it going in time to meet you lot at one of the shows but its a hell of a lot of work. Its just a shell at the moment.
  5. Thanks for that... I will get some tommorow. Any ideas on removing that crankshaft pulley?.
  6. LOL that was a box that has another engine stand in it you can see, so I can have them side by side to work on. Its gonna be a superhuman task to get all this shiz in the car and running. Yes I went for black hoses as sometimes I think "less is more" started building up the engine today but as a novice its going to take quite a while.
  7. Firstly I am trying to remove the cog off the crankshaft that the timing belt runs around. I used a pulley remover to get the large metal wheel off that holds all the ancilery belts. But for the life of me I cant see how to get that cog off behind it without possibly damaging it?... any suggestions really appreciated. Secondly I have a full OEM gasket set but it does not seem to include gaskets for the water pump where it attaches to the block. It had some kind of liquid gasket on there when I took it off, does it get replaced with the same sort of stuff again? Ta very much
  8. Well all my stuff turned up last night, I unpacked and sorted it all out today :taz: The workmanship on the block is lovely, I cant wait to see the baby running :cowboy: I have to say thast clutch is the dogs *****cks as well... worth every penny PIC HEAVY LINK http://www.project300tt.com/2010/01/30/all-my-parts-have-arrived-look-at-this-little-lot/
  9. I imagine show and tell tommorow lol
  10. All my stuff turned up tonight at 7pm a massive crate was dumped half on the road and half on my drive. We took it apart where it was and managed to move all the bits. I have not had a good chance to have a look at all the stuff or open the boxes yet but the engine block looks lovely. But holy crows we have a lot of work to do now to get this car running. I would like to get it to at least one show this year and get it run in and on the dyno.
  11. You know what guys, im still in the dark about all this. I like Car Mads look, and I dont want to be messing about with the arches. I will take a nice non rubbing fit that will look as agressive as possible if possible. Suspension wise I have Tein Monoflex EDFC
  12. I dont mind the wheels but will be loosing them as soon as I find another set...
  13. Jimmer what ones do you like?
  14. I dont want any rubbing so what would you say the ideal size(s) are..
  15. I just had the car painted so I cant mess with the arches, are they the same size for the front and rears?. I thought the rear wheels should be wider or something? Thanks
  16. Great stuff The wheels I want are here, I am going to buy a set and have the feckers shipped. Question is what are the perfect size fits for my car from the 345676 drop down options. http://www.rhdjapan.com/work-emotion-xt7-wheels-53428 I am confident my big brake kit will fit the 18s in these, all my arches are standard. Would really appreciate someone who can help me get it right for this as I am a complete dunce.
  17. Gees that is the slowest loading website ever lol still waiting for it to load up, and they only have five sets of wheels for the zed.
  18. I so need to find some stunning wheels for my car that will go with white, I wanted work emotion ones in buff but no fecker sells them over here. I look every night but still have not found anything that really grabs me. Thanks for the photoshop offer but if they are the wrong size it would be a waste of time. I really dont want to import from Japan unless I really have to.
  19. I cant make my mind up on them, I think I love them but not sure. I doubt he would send them to the UK though  http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Ltd-Edition-JDM-Work-LS406-19-wheels-Brand-New_W0QQitemZ200432522818QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Car_Parts_Accessories?hash=item2eaab59642
  20. Car was delivered home today, I need to collect the bumpers but I took some pictures of the finnished car being delivered. http://www.project300tt.com/2010/01/28/respray-finnished-and-car-delivered-home/
  21. I just bought a mongoose one for the same reasons a full system is the back boxes and the middle section.
  22. All sorted out after completing and faxing bits of paper about!. I had to pay £182 to have UPS deliver it to my house otherwise I would have had to collect it from Heathrow. Also charged all sorts of other fees and costs from UPS for handling etc plus the normal VAT and import duties. Thing is its one hell of a big heavy crate 880lbs and 1.5 meters square so im happy paying the additional money to get it dumped on the end of my drive way. Unfortunately the lorry will not be able to get it down my long gravel drive so I will have to open it there and use a wheelbarrow to try and get it all into my garage. Seems funny, I ordered this lot about 4 months ago and to be finally getting it all is quite exciting now. I will post a load of pictures up tommorow if I get chance of it all.
  23. Someone from ups called my bits are in customs at the moment. Then they can price them to be delivered to me by ups for tommorow hopefully. I just need to wait to get the bill from customs.
