yes im sure you are right, I would not be so concerned if it just said on the tracking at Blah in customs or in brussels. The tracking details just stop when it left the US. Being air freight how does it work, I assume that customs contact me to tell me I owe them some bunce then I pay that and collect it in a van from Heathrow? I know they dont deliver it to my house or anything so I have to collect it from somewhere. I will have to hire a tail lift van and get it, do you pay the customs charges when you pick it up or before?.

All my bits are somewhere in a 880lb huge crate "misplaced" somewhere in the UPS network :no:. Apparantly 6 lots of goods ship as one load by air from the US. Only two bits of that load turned up without paperwork in heathrow so they cant tell me anything :no: Not sure if they are in the US, Europe, or somewhere at Heathrow. Or mine might be one of the two that made it to heathrow :rockon:. They cant tell me as they cant get any paperwork as its with the rest of it or something. OMFG my luck stinks, I am not a relegious man but will be saying a prayer tonight. :blink:

Could be microblistering a reaction caused by the paint on there. Might G3 out but could cause the tops to come off them so I would suggest to try it by hand first.

A lot of this antisocial behaviour started when they stopped you from disciplining your children and getting the cane in school etc. Nothing ever has any consequences any more, I was in bed one night where we used to live and heard two nipper chav types trying to steal my wifes car. They had broken in and were just in the process of slide hammering the ignition barrel out when I started chasing them down the road. As they ran for it I jumped in my car and drove after them, they started walking and tried to pretend that they did not know anything about it. I got out and lost my temper at one of the little gobby twats. They then both made a run for it and I got hold of one and beat the crap out of him. Car thefts locally continued, but my stuff never got touched again.

Yes it was but the job was not that great there was some microblistering to the paint and there was a dent in the wing and some rust on one of the arches.. ohh and the engine bay was not done. I would have done all the bits on it rather than the whole thing but the paint colour could not be matched so did the whole thing properly this time around. Most of it was done bare metal, new arches welded on, and all the shuts have been done properly and all the main panels removed. Went for the New lexus colour as well so it looks sweet.

I just bought some new black leather recaros for it, im going to trim the interior plain black leather with black suede as sometimes I think less is more. Have to buy some new wheels as well!.

All my bits are on the way at the moment as well so we can make a start on putting it all together in the next few weeks. It is going to be one hell of a job, I just hope with help from the forum we can get it running!.

Car is painted, just waiting for the spoiler to be put on now. It looks absolutely lush and the pearl looks great in the light. Unfortunately the pictures are taken in doors in poor light on my phone so they dont really do it justice. I will take some more in natural light when I get the car back next week.

I have always wanted a project car so wanted to do it right first time around. The engine has been built by Kyle Puckett and he did the spec for me based on his own experience so I am looking forward to seeing just what it can do. I plan to do as much as possible with it BHP wise. At the moment is is just a load of bits so I just hope I can get the thing running! I still need to get the main exhaust so would love the contact details.

Thanks that helps a lot, I will defo post mine for everyone to have a look at when I get it on the dyno even if it is not finnished. I will have a go at some decent BHP, and yes I will be using NOS and anything else that I can lay my hands on that will make a difference, im not proud BHP is BHP IMO.

Ok guys I know that you are probably getting fed up about hearing about my respray at the moment :clap: but I am quite excited.
