  1. Its a minefield, thanks
  2. Guys, I would really appreciate your help as techical questions come up doing our build. A lot of the parts we are fitting dont have instructions and we are fitting them to other aftermarket parts making things even more complicated. We would really appreciate getting any help or support with questions listed here . Questions 1. There is a bolt hole that appears to be threaded next to the right hand front water pipe on the engine. Does anything go in this hole? if so what? 2. What the frack are the clips from Nissan that came with all my bits, they can be seen in the bag here and where do they go? 3. With the Tein monoflex suspension with EDFC there is a thread on the top of the shocks and a thread inside the electrical box that goes on them. There is a small thing that should do the adjustment but when you plug them onto the top of the shock there is a gap of about 2cm so you cant screw the box onto the shock. Is there something missing? or what do you do?
  3. Stu thanks for the offer, I am kind of stuck at the moment on a few things. So if im still stuck I will let you know. I have a few bits missing from the guys who polished it or chromed some bits for me. So far I dont have my oil cap, the bracket that holds the timing thingy into the cam, a sensor... and a few other bits. Also I have bits that were shipped like springs and clips that I have no idea what they are. In fact im gonna take some pics and ask on here. Im hoping for 6-800BHP using nos I think it should be 5-600 without who knows but its one heck of a build.
  4. Im after something tasteful in the car and a pretty boot full to go with my big fat NOS bottle LOL. I dont want it to look like the car was on a smash and grab at Halfords, I listen to drum n bass a lot so needs to handle bass. I know its not a massive budget for audio so my expectations are realistic. Someone said to me go for JL amp and speakers?
  5. I am looking for a car audio set up for about 3K, double din with sat nav and the rest of it is up for debate but a decent bass handling system is essential. Can I have your advice regards what kind of system to buy as well as where to buy it from. I dont mind doing some fiberglassing in the boot but dont want to cut 43565 holes in the interior as im having a nice posh trim done. :glare: I know feck all about car audio so if anyone can help I would really appreciate the advice.
  6. I only bought mine cos I wanted the EDFC as well so you can control the damping in the car. You know its the boys and toys thing, other than that I would have probably bought some BC racing ones. I know what you mean suspension is a hard one, im sure there are some reviews somewhere?.
  7. The bodyshop is here, expensive but very very good job http://www.banburys.net/
  8. The Brembos are gone im afraid someone from the forum bought them who is picking them up tmoz. Also I gave the old suspension away to someone on here as im a nice guy . I gave the engine and box away and the other bits have all been sold at mates rates LOL.
  9. I put some Tein Monoflex ones in today, they are lush and have a bucket load of adjustment.
  10. Take your Mrs to Mcdonalds as a treat then bang her twice.. what more could any woman want for valentines day :w00t:
  11. Been making some good progress on the car since all my bits were delivered. Have all the manifolds, tubs, etc on the engine and today put the Tein suspension on the front of the car as well as the Stoptech big brake kit. Pics of the suspension and brakes here http://www.project300tt.com/2010/02/13/tein-monoflex-and-stoptech-big-brake-fitted-on-the-front/ Engine build in progress here http://www.project300tt.com/2010/02/13/engine-build-progress-so-far/
  12. I quite like those, I still have the krsmayo ones on there but feel like a change!
  13. Im getting sick of looking now... just want wheels :helpsmilie:

  15. I think that most people here would not want to do it if it was their car. That being said I think most people will give you encouragement to do it for a laugh. Make your own mind up, but it will ruin it... but be a laugh and if you are up for some fun go the whole hog and Mr Blobby it.
  16. Sorry Jimmer just so thickies like me get this so stock = put them back in. And aftermarket + EBC = remove them?.
  17. Those bolts have very fine threads on them, I dont want to go borking the tub holes with wrong bolts.
  18. In your last pic two of the blue hoses from the tubs on each side had little brass things in, we pushed them out with a screwdriver and put them into the new braided ones. Check your old ones by cutting them into small pieces, I have new hoses that I have bought that go elsewhere on the car that have them in as well. Now im not sure if I should keep them in or remove them?.
  19. Ahhh Iit all confuses me all these little pipes with brass things in, so if you have a boost controller do you take them out?.
  20. Do you put the boost jets in the hoses for non stock set ups?, I have used braided hose but any hoses with fittings in we transferred is this correct for aftermarket tubs as well?
  21. That is mine, and I have just bought some more from Import parts Pro, thing is I broke one and had a few questions but they have all been answered now.
  22. You are welcome :tt2: I will be picking your brains on how to do the water bypass as I looked at it here a few times but still cant get my head around it. http://tech.aus300zx.com/Rear_Water_Hoses/NytWolf_waterhose_replacement.html Looks like you were busy today .
  23. Gibster Where did you get your bolts from your down pipes that go in the back of your tubs as I need to find a set of them. All of the ones I have here that I have tried have a different thread!. Looking good
