  1. Cool just bought it along with an oil pressure one and with my Map sensor one will be three of them. Could do with a water temp one as well but no where to put it!
  2. I have a boost controller now that I want to replace, nothing wrong with it but I have an AEM Map sensor and engine management gizmo.
  3. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AEM-TRU-BOOST-Electronic-Boost-Gauge-and-Controller-UK_W0QQitemZ230380462546QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item35a3bee1d2
  4. My new cams are on the way, I could really do with someone to come out and do/help with the cam belt who is competent. Dont mind paying but could really do with the help to make sure its all done properly. Any ideas?
  5. They dont look bad how much are they?
  6. Get your money back, really you dont want to be breaking on broken and repaired brakes. If you kill a kid because of it how would you feel??????? just get shot of them right back to him.
  7. That looks awsome
  8. Ahh sorry meant fuel rail.. does that mean that the small pipe I was wondering about on the right side of the fuel rail goes onto that bolt thingy? (lol love the use of highly technical terms).
  9. They are very very nice..., the blue pipe there goes into my balance bar or fuel rail? is that in the right place or is mine different?
  10. What on earth is an oil catch tank? have I missed it or did it not have one to start with?
  11. Im afraid not I dont work Thursdays or Fridays though :thumbup1: but no rush anyhows still waiting on bits.
  12. A few more questions today guys :sorcerer: 1. I have done a water bypass can you please have a look at the pipes and let me know if they look ok. The pipe that goes to the left tub looks tight because it goes behind another pipe I just put the plenham on for the pictures so it goes over the top. 2. On the underneath of the throttle bodies there are two small bits poking out for vacum hose. Where do these go to? 3. On the fuel rail there are the two main pipes for the fuel system, where does the third smaller one go to just on the bottom right?. 4. We are putting in the EFI harness next week, it looks to be really tight even with the engine out is there a fitting guide anywhere? or do you have to take the dash out?. 5. Does everything else look ok so far? I know there are jubilee clips etc missing it will not be finnished and bolted together until I get my new cams and pulleys etc. Getting there but its quite a big job so far as there were loads of blanked vacum hoses and with all the new parts and further deletes I dont want to miss anything. Thanks
  13. The weight of the actual parcel when sent should be on the label on the front, simply have a look then weigh the box and the paper. If it is less than this you know it was taken in transit. If it is the same you know it was never posted with anything in.
  14. I would thats seven years ago
  15. Getting the old one out is dead easy... cut it. As for geting the new one in we are doing that probably next week after we have finnished relocating the fusebox.
  16. I own woodland and last year went to B&Q and bought a mcculoch just because it was not very expensive. Me and my friend cut down over 20 trees with it, easily good enough to do what you want it for. Im talking big trees as well!!
  17. 6 months and had it four days before we started pulling the little baby to bits...
  18. How are you finding doing the engine harness? we have to do ours soon....
  19. I do as many as I can, done well over 100 now
  20. Fortunately i have a double garage but its freezing in there
  21. Si I should have, but all done now!!! front ones do cool better and because of the AC delete there is plenty of room to spray it with water lol.
  22. John you are welcome, just grab it any time you need it. Things are coming along fine. The engine is nearly built up except for the new cams and a few pipes. Just literally started putting all the guts back under the hood so we can do all the electrics.
  23. OMG what a day, I spent all of it fitting a new FMI. If you dont mind getting a saw to your freshly painted after market bumper then im sure its a quickish job. :clown: However if you dont want to destroy your bumper then you have to bend, hacksaw, and generally struggle with every part of it. Its like the movie Karate Kid but instead of "wax on, wax off" its "bumper on, bumper off" ahhhhhhhhh. And then when you wrestle with it all day so the fecker fits underneath you then need to fabricate two brackets to hold it all into position. Sure pleased that is out the way
  24. I have one of them halfords tool sets and no matter how hard I have tried I have not been able to break any of it!!! really really good quality. All the ratchets still work despite beating them with hammers etc or using breaker bars on them.
  25. What a great idea, I have an air one and its a pain in the ass with pipes and only getting maximum power when the compressor is full etc. Is it as good as an air one?...I think im gonna buy one of those :tt1:
