eBay Clear Side Repeater 'JAP/UK Mod' Help...
nice work dude, it is such a small thing, but makes such a big difference in my opinion.

Hi from a current Prelude owner
I have a 2+2 and i am afraid i have to agree with Jane here - i think the SWB actually sits just right, nice and stubby. BUT..... i also have to say that the back seats have come in use, and you can get quite a lot of stuff in the back either with the back seats down, or just using them as storage space.

Skirts
Agree 100% - I also have carMad smooth skirts and i think they look lush, certainly not over the top or anything, you can check my Rides out to see. AND his stuff fitted first time no probs, i can wholeheartedly recommend. :thumbup1:

I've been run over
I truely beleive that evertybody should be retested at regular intervals, say 10 years or so, and said intervals should get get shorter as you get older. Not only would it generate some jobs and revenue, but it would keep many unsafe drivers off our roads. I mean we all know that your sight, hearing and reaction time deteriorates as we get older, but yet we are happy to let someone who passed their test 50 or more years ago to carry on as if they were 50 years younger.... Cars have to be checked to ensure they are roadworthy, why not drivers?? I am sorry to hear that you were on the receiving end of what sounds like a nasty experience, but i aggree with those above - you should definately pursue, and get GOOD legal representation. I am pleased that you are ok, but it grinds my gears when we, as a society insist one rule for some, and another rule for others.

classic car insurance advice needed
Well i'm pleased to be of help mate. - you cant argue with that really - a saving and more miles. Mine is limited to 8000 a year i think, but they never asked for the original mileage so i don't know how they would check??

classic car insurance advice needed
I'm with Lynbrook - classic car policy costing me about £260. but i needed to have another car on a normal policy for car to qualify for "classic" policy (other policy is not with Lynbrook) £1500 sounds an awful lot, might be worth trying a normal policy : try Adrian Flux or Carol Nash. Likewise if you do a search, the whole insurance subject has come up many times before. I'm sure you'll find something cheaper.

Fingers crossed....
Indeed you will, would Sunday be ok mate? I'm playing golf on Saturday and there is a meet down in Alton on Sunday so i was going to do a round trip to you, down to Alto then back home.

Fingers crossed....
I swapped the transmission fluid again yesterday and cleaned out the filter again, really thoroughly this time, loads more crap came out - a kind of light brown fiberous type material (again no sign of metal shards or anything to sinister) I got caught out in the rain yesterday so didn't get to refill it till this morning so it was with trepidation that i refilled and started her up.......... All good, no whirring noise like before, so i gently took her for a little spin....... All good, no foreign noises from the box and the changes are as smooth as they have ever been..... Took her to work and probably did about 20 miles today.... All good, sounds sweet, pulling like a train, and one happy owner who feels as if they have accomplished something special, as i would never have tried anything like this before, I know it is a really simple fix to some, but i am not the most mechanically minded. I would like to thank everyone here and over the road who gave me advice and guidance, you might well have saved me quite a pretty penny as i was close to buying a new box and swapping it out. You have all helped put a MASSIVE smile on my face, and for that i am very grateful.:bow:

Yeah, that is a pretty example - i love the front lip and the wheels.

Hi from a current Prelude owner
Well to be honest with you you will find loads in that price range, but do try and get a good example, as the more you skimp in the first place, the more you will regret it down the IMO. Like i said bud I'm only just down the road, so any help or assistance just let me know.

Hi from a current Prelude owner
Welcome mate, you have come to the right place, lots of helpfull people here dude. Also lots of nice examples come up for sale here as well. I live near Oxford also (Didcot), so if you want to meet up sometime and go for a spin, or have a look under the bonnet then just let me know mate I'd be happy to pass on what little knowledge i have on these babies. but to echo what Quavey said - they are very cheap for what they are - BUT you will need to look after her and a little pot of "emergency" cash might not be a bad idea. What sort of budget have you set yourself?

Older Zed anyone?
love all of em..... just love the last one a little less

My ECU check
lots of ideas bud, but alas none about your probs. quick bump to the top though.
-
Private number plates - love em or hate em?
Depends on the plate - my brother has a couple of cool ones: DA99 (His name is Donald Alcorn) and 813 DON. (BIG DON) If you want one mate - you get one - who cares what anyone else thinks. If i could afford a nice one i would get one. What winds me up is when i see a decent plate on a crappy car.

Gone 99-spec rear lights!
very nice mate

thursday woohoo lol
i hear ya, but those cars mentioned might give you more of a run for your money than you think, especially at lower speeds (ie 0-60) over 70 and you would cream em. I would say the S3 is the pick of the bunch unless its a pulsar GTi R - as they are quick as fook. BUT as you say..... It's all about the RWD - mans toy as opposed to boys toy:lol: AND the zed is much better looking
-
thursday woohoo lol

This has been mentioned by others, but how would i do it? Please bear in mind that i have limited technical/mechanical abilities. Thanks bud

Nice one mate - although i would have to question what you are doing on here, while on your honymoon no less!!!! I guess that is real dedication for you. Enjoy your break bud, it's back to earth when you get home dude:lol:
