Welcome mate. With regards to prices??? Your best bet is to have a look on here at those who are selling theirs (you know they will have been well loved and reasonably priced) I guess anywhere from £2000 upwards for an early TT manual (later models fetch more money) you can get lucky and pick one up cheap, but it's a gamble and for the sake of £500 at purchase you might be spending twice that to get it all tickety boo. Have a look at the buying guide in the FAQ section so you know what to look for when viewing and prosective purchases. Likewise i know that many members would be happy to come and have a look with you if its not too far. Good luck with the search, and don't be afraid to wait for the right one to come along.

how low are the pads mate? there is a little bit of metal which squeeks when pads are getting near to needing a change. I am sure you know this already but thought i would just eliminate the obvious.
