Ah.. shame to hear that mate, i too like to be able to go to the bar lean over and make some poor attemt at flirting with the bar maid..... but my original point still stands that we should have some sort of meet soon, before we know it we will be arguing with our targa seals again about what in fact thier job is! looks great as always. I haven't been to glasto since they put up the new fences.... no way you can jump over, or tunnel under them! and to be honest my memory of the 3 or 4 i went to are.... shall we say a little hazy! This might sound stupid, but have you cleaned the battery terminals and the wires coming off it? Mine were all oxidized and gunked up so a quick wire brush and clean made the world of difference. I tried the maf and the ptu etc and she still had an intermittent fault, but since i cleaned up the battery, she's been good as gold. check out this link... there are loads of things to try for hesitation/misfire/etc http://www.zhome.com/ZCMnL/PICS/hesi...esitation.html

Just a public thanks to Andy who last week bought a spare ptu round for me to try and sort my hesitation out. After a bit of fiddling and cleaning, all seems well. Cheers mate.

Right, i spent a bit of time under the bonnet today... I swapped the ptu with one that andy isherward kindly bought round. Lots of cleaning of as many connectors as i could get to and lots of fiddling and there is now no more hesitation! I took her round the ring road a couple of times, and booted it a little bit, and she seemed quite happy. I will slowly take her on a few more longer and longer runs to make sure that all is well. Fingers crossed.
