hey folks, just saying hello and checking out the forum, i don't own a 300zx at the moment, i currently drive a mr2 turbo, getting a bit bored(or maybe just getting old) of it now and fancy something a bit bigger and a bit more refined, i've always liked the 300zx, i had a 200sx which was good to drive but having been in a couple of 300's i think this is the route i'm gonna go down, what kind of price should i expect to pay for a manual TT in half decent condition?? the prices i've seen seem to really vary, and not always dependant on condition!! anyway, hello and nice to meet you all :D

cheers matey, will be on here all the time if i find one no doubt, i'm usually on the mr2 owners club a lot, but i'd be selling the 2 to fund a 300 :D

Welcome mate.

With regards to prices??? Your best bet is to have a look on here at those who are selling theirs (you know they will have been well loved and reasonably priced)

I guess anywhere from £2000 upwards for an early TT manual (later models fetch more money) you can get lucky and pick one up cheap, but it's a gamble and for the sake of £500 at purchase you might be spending twice that to get it all tickety boo.

Have a look at the buying guide in the FAQ section so you know what to look for when viewing and prosective purchases. Likewise i know that many members would be happy to come and have a look with you if its not too far.

Good luck with the search, and don't be afraid to wait for the right one to come along.

Thanks for the welcomes guys, yeah I reckon this is probably the best place to pick one up, I'll keep my eyes open, have to sell the mr2 first unfortunately :*)

Welcome to the club buddy, you will find a whole wealth of information on here, and as has been mentioned there is always someone willing to lend a hand or even view a prospective purchase nearer the area it is for sale.

Good luck with your search though mate.

thanks for the warm welcome, i put a reply on that post, but then after looking at his for sale advert i doubt he'd do a straight swap, which is what i'm after, my car is probably worth a bit less than his :(

thanks mate :D yeah, thought it'd be best checking this site out first, the Mr2 owners club (imoc.co.uk) has given me no end of help and soloutions over the time i've owned the car :)
