WOOHOO!!! My baby is back! Thanks for your advice Jaffa, I owe you a pint! I checked the solenoids, and they were okay, then I noticed as I was checking everything over this tiny little hose on the left there's two of em, 1 above the other, and the top one had come off, no sooner had I put it back on, the engine changed tone and sounded sweet, and a look inside on the dials was showing the oil pressure rising the right, to then hover around the middle. I took it for a little spin up the bypass and back and bugger me with a bloody big stick it feels like a different car! Pick up is so much faster, I was hitting 9psi most of the time, and it was going like shit iff a shovel! EXCELLENT! Also the BOV's are MUCH louder, I don't know what this pipe does but it's definately what was wrong! HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!!!! :dance: :dance: :dance: :dance: Thankyou so much all for helping, looks like I'll still be getting my chip and boost jets from Z-tech on the 28th! Yeah! I love this club :bow:

Sorry to drag this up again, but as you may or may not know I bought Dave's Zed a while back. I'm having the same problem, and can't for the life of me figure out what it is :( It does it on warm or cold days. Can put my foot down and get 7 psi and then literally the next time I do it get the full 9. Makes a BIG difference. I would say I'm getting full boost 1 time out of every 10 or so times I floor it. I can really tell the difference between when it's boosting properly and when it's not. The recent Conzult check came up Code 55... I'm perplexed, but it's really frustrating at the moment, as it feels like My beloved Zed is being held back, which it is being stuck at 7psi. It's also making me wary of overtaking etc. I never know if I'm going to get 7 or 9 pis when it kicksdown... Any ideas what this is? Thanks in advance for any ideas... Jon.

Hi all, well after getting the car back from Samurai, I can honestly say they have done a fantastic job on my Zed, the resprayed front end and mesh they put on has made it look like a brand new car, I can't believe the difference it's made! If I was getting looks before, it's even worse now lol I can't stop drooling over it either :hyper: They did the whole job for £150 and even put some oil in and general tinkering while I was there for no extra. Nice bunch of blokes there, and all I can say is whatever problems they may have had in the past they are definately making an effort to make a name for themselves, I for one am extremely happy with the bodywork they have done, and my mate who I sold my other Zed to has had his cambelt and other things done there, and is very happy with the results. I haven't got a digicam to show you but I wish I had taken a before and after shot! Just thought I'd post this up, as when a company is getting caned for a reason, they need to be praised for a job well done as well. Thanks for reading, Jon.

Depends on who you marry mate, find the right one and you shouldn't have any problems like that... Marraige is bliss for me, been nearly 7 years now together and we've only ever had two what could be classed as "rows" although it never even escalated to shouting level! Like it's been said, they need attention and reassuring, and it's a happy harmonious existence :)

I drift when I feel like it, wouldn't do it for competition or anything like that though... The Zed is really well balanced for it in my opinion :)

Don't worry Dave, sold as seen and it's not like it's a huge problem mate, compared to what could go wrong with these cars this is not that high up on the "oh shit this is gonna be expensive/annoying" list ;) It came up code 55 on a Conzult so I couldn't ask for more than that really :) De-limited? My Manual hit an indicated 182mph before I backed off, it still had some more in it but I shat my pants at that point... (Disclaimer: this was on a private test track.) Maybe it'll sort itself out like all my Zed problems seem to do lol

Legrath, this ticking and tractor noise is exactly the sound I'm having, how much was it to get it all fixed and do you still get the ticking/tractor noise? Cheers, Jon.
