As far as I understood it it's legal to drive it to the MOT station as long as you have it booked in, but I stand to be corrected. It's certainly not ok to drive it around until he has the work done, if he has an accident some poor sucker's gonna be stitched up because he hasn't got any insurance... :nono:

Yup they seemed to favour Astra's that night, we never hack about up there, it's suicide, we just like to check out the other motors and meet some people, and watch Fiesta drivers get pulled over lol Was anyone else near that huge fight that broke out in the Bus & Coach park? Around 2pm. Must have been 20+ people involved easily minus the bystanders and people trying to get involved and break it up... Madness, there was an ambulance on site, but he refused to go in until the police got there, one focus turned up and I could see there faces were like "oh shi* we better hope backup gets here soon". It all went upstairs into a double decker bus, anyone that tried to get involved got decked... :nono: I can't understand that mentality really, especially at that time of day with kids about etc. Everyone needs to chill and buy a ZX! :dance: Nice car mate, are you re-spraying it same colour? Was down there on my birthday yesterday in a Civic, I think we were the lowest car there (without hydraulics) but that was mainly due to it having 4 people, a dinghy, and 4 cool bags full of beer and food in it! lol Saw the Grey one, no-one in it near the casino, was that yours? Had a kit on and high level spoiler, looked niiiiiice :bow: Saw the black one too, had nice wheels on, and the dark blue one was tearing up the outside of all the novas and corsas making them look like they were in reverse :D I went last night specifically to go Zed hunting, so was well chuffed when we saw 3 :D They were easily the best looking cars there, just so much prescense to them. *drools* My bloody Focus still hasn't sold so far, getting real frustrated now, I want to start my Zed ownership ASAP! :D

Every speaker will have a positive and negative, make sure you get these right otherwise the speaker will be out of phase and sound pants. They'll be marked + & - I'm sure.

Hi all, thanks again for all the help you've given, I must have read every topic on the forum by now! At least I won't feel like I'm going to buy a car I nothing about :) Anyway, I've seen this pic online, and I was wondering if anybody knew what kit it has on, and also what wheels they are. This is the sort of look I will be going for after some consideration, and convincing the better half it's a good idea to do. ;) So, any ideas from the experienced owners of Zed's on here?

Excellent, well, it looks like I may have found a Manual 1990 ZX that willing to do a straight swap with me for my Focus, and I think the BOV's are going to be my first Mod :D So, who on here sells them and how much are they fitted? Also, I'd like to put clear repeaters and clear front lights in bumper, and also fit and paint a spoiler such as this one. My car's this colour as well :D I guess what I'm asking (btw you guys are really helpful, best car forum I've come across so far...) is this: 1. How much to buy and have dump valves fitted, and where from? 2. How much to buy and get fitted the clear side indicators and front lights in bumper. 3. How much to buy and have sprayed and fitted the rear spolier shown. I've seen it on Z-centre for £200. I wondered if they could do the rest as well in one visit and if any of you have had any experience with them good or bad. Thanks for reading guys, I hope to join the 300ZX club some time soon :D

Has anyone got them fitted? I know it's childish but I love that sound (On nice cars not Fiesta conversions etc.). i was wondering if it can only be fitted to Manuals as well, or can you get dum valves for auto's too? Forgive me if this is a silly question, but I'm knew to all this Supercar malarky ;) I drive an Astra GTE and a Focus Estate at the moment :rofl:

What does a standard ZX do for the 1/4 mile? Anyone know? That run was amazing, though it was going to do a back flip :shock:

Ok hold on one sec, why is everyone disabling HICAS? And cruise control for that matter... I would have thought it helped the car corner better? Correct me if I'm wrong tho' I'm relatively new to the whole Zed scene ;)
