  1. That's the one, love the style of that one mate, massive respect
  2. Absolutely gorgeous, something for all the modders to aspire to mate, well done :hyper:
  3. I personally like Spinsky's interior the best, with those subs... drool lol As for external, It's got to be the SWB Black one that was at the lakeside meet, can't remember who's it was though :(
  4. It retracts ok for me if I yank the bit attached to the door and let go quickly, but yeah it's saggy as a 70 year old pornstar for sure
  5. I turned up to my wedding in my Zed, couldn't think of another car I would want to turn up in :hyper:
  6. Yup, like it was yesterday! I felt like a king! What a rush
  7. Ok thanks for the advice, was a bit worried about that. I was supposed to see Ryan tommorow but am going to have to re-book as I've had a little family "crisis" :( Gutted as I was well looking forward to getting the Zed over there... dammit
  8. Hi guys, hope you can help here. If you are looking at the Zed from the front, on the far right hand side at the front of the car. After I'd stopped at a shell garage to fill up with Optimax, I let it run for a minute or two, turned her off, filled up, paid, then came back to find shit loads of liquid on the floor under the car. I got down to have a look and it wasn't drippingor anything, only a couple of drops, but it was very worrying. My water temp guage was almost at the bottom, whereas normally it's around a quarter of the way to a third of the way round the dial. Apart from the low boost she was running fine. I didn't know what it was but carried on, and it hasn't done anything since. Does anyone know what the hell this was and is it something I should be losing sleep over? My water temp guage still isn't reading a very high temp, very low in fact, then it will go up, then down again, I was only boosting around 5-6psi all day. After this dumping of fluid I took it easy all the way home, and am a bit worried to be honest... After having a look under the bonnet it seemed like it was around the area where the coolant bottle thing is, although I have no idea what it is or what to do with it, so thought I'd come and ask you guys. Thanks in advance for your advice! Cheers, Kay.
  9. I was only boosting around 5psi today, it's not just you mate :)
  10. That would be the Sky. What kind of a mickey mouse outfit is this? Everyone knows that! :nono: ;)
  11. In my opinion go for one off here, you can check all the history by looking at all the owners posts, and you know it's been looked after by an enthusiast. You will always pay over the odds from a dealer, and you have no real idea of the history of the car. Sure you will get bills, but why has that work been carried out? What was wrong with it? etc. etc. All this you can check on here. I know the one you are looking at I've seen it in Autotrader before. The way the subs are positioned is crazy... I agree 100%, go for a sound one that you know has had all the bits done to it (uprated oil cooler for example, aftermarket guages) that need to be done and go for a bodykit yourself, who knows what's under the kit? There are some brilliant Zeds for sale right here on this forum, and for a lot less than that. Travelling shouldn't be an issue when buying a car like this, I travelled half way across the country to get mine because I knew it was worth the effort. That's my advice anyway :) Oh and Viper stripes on a Zed? please, people will be putting spinners on them next  ;) lol
  12. Chris I'll buy you a Big Tasty (Supersize if you do a good job) if you fit 'em to mine
  13. AAAAAH hahahahahaaaaa I knew it! You're just trying to get in the show I know his game  Nah but seriously mate out of all the neons I've seen they are actually pretty good, you can't see a thin line of light, it's spreading out from under the car. Now all you gotta do is get the front and back and you will be King Chav down Southend  lol!

Best way to test Overdrive is to turn it off then boot it, if it doesn't go over 140ishmph it works... but with your Speedo you'd better wait until you get it fixed ;)

You're right, I just checked... hmmm I might be out for this one then, I didn't realise it's fathers day.... bugger I'll let you know Chunk asap
  19. Hi mate thanks for the offer but Ryan is doing it for £80 fitted while I'm over that way. Ta anyway :) Might get my exhausts de-catted as well... the guy who done it says they are shot, that would explain the rattling then... hmmm
  20. It's always a worry isn't it? Passed with an advisory on the left O2 sensor, apparantly there is no wiring to it... and it just passed the emissions test... oops But it passed, so that's a good thing :) Now I've gotta find out how much it is to have the O2 sensor fixed... :smash:
  21. Wow, I couldn't imagine losing my Zed in such a way... How fast were you going? At least you're ok :(
  22. Had the urge to go for a blast in the Zed, and fookin hell was it flying, it hasn't been that fast in a while, I was tinkering under the bonnet and was fiddling around with the det sensor connector, and checking all the other connections after reading in another thread about loose connections etc. and something clicked, I thought nothing of it and after it had warmed up I put my foot down off a roundabout and woah! hung on for dear life... It was boosting to 9psi nearly every time, much better than before, so I don't know what's happened but I'm well pleased  I just had the most fun half hour I've had all week :) You can certainly tell the difference between safety boost and full boost eh? God knows what it's like with you boys running higher boost... When I got back she was purring, I half expected it to develop into a fatal problem just as I was having fun, but nope, she's fine... Aren't these cars fickle? ;)
  23.
  24. *click, click, click, click etc.* Dammit now I'll be doing this all day... I can't stop! lol *click click click*
  25. Genuine Original AC Cobra or... no that's about all I'd swap it for... :D
