Just watched the first episode and ducked upstairs while the wife is watching Craig's interview.... :slap: I think it was alright, but I don't expect too much from TV when I watch it. I just sit there with a nice beer and the wife in me lap and mong... nice. WTF is that thing in the jungle though? I reckon it's either a T-Rex ala Jurrasic park.... or Vanessa Feltz on celebrity love island and she got left behind, left to her own devices for a couple of years and is now 20 foot tall and 2000 pounds heavier lol

Well, mine is going off the road at the end of the month. It needs.... *takes a deep breath* New turbos Main and big end bearings tappets 02 sensors New cats or knocked out Exhaust repair or new exhaust as it's blowing Oil and Water temp gauges fixing Random boost problem fixing (probably caused by some or all of the above) Wheels refurbing Sort the dodgy headlamp as it's not sitting right Fix wonky bonnet Get fan surround fitted God knows what else that I don't know about yet And while it's off the road it will be getting... Full re-trim New steering wheel Full homemade ICE install as it's all in there, but doesn't look pretty right now Manual conversion Chip and boost upgrade New rear spoiler (not sure of the name but I know which one it is) Wings west rear Stillen sideskirts '99 spec rear lights Modify centre panel to light up "300ZX" in blue Subtle blue neons (not fitted them yet...) I've decided that as it'smy daily driver all this stuff just will not be done, so rather than carry on driving it around as it is and the problems getting worse, I've bought myself a little Civic to run around in starting 1st September... So this Southend show will be her last outing for a while :cry: But when my baby is back on the road she will be a different car altogether, and I will be doing it bit by bit, in my own time. I don't care if it takes 2 months or two years, I will have it just the way I want it or not at all... Damn I will miss driving it though, but hey, I've seen the results some of you guys have come up with after sacrifice and hard work, and that's what I'm going to try and do :bow:

Thanks for the pm Mr Magic :) Yup, I'll be coming along with my old Zed in tow, we won't be putting ours in the show this time, think we'll let you boys get the drool over your bodywork this time lol Cool, I haven't met JD'S-Z before, so that'll be good Are we gonna meet up outside of Southend and convoy in or just meet up when we get there like last time? If you're in the show though like has been said you need to be there early at the spot (although we didn't have to do this the last two times which was nice) so we won't be able to convoy in... I'm up for whatever though so I'll keep tabs on this thread to keep up with whats going on :)

Yup, that's the quickest on rolling starts etc. Which way do people find best to launch from standstill? I've been trying different ways and just wondered what other people have found? I'm just waiting for an excuse to get a manual conversion... I'm really starting to miss my old Manual Zed now... even with it's whining gears and the aforementioned turbospool between gears...

If we all put ads in for 15k + then surely all the others will put their prices up too, as nobody will want to buy (what would then look like as it's so much cheaper) a dog, that would be cool...

We could meet up and convoy down into Southend if Mr. Mayo fancied it as well. I know Darren will be up for it as well in his one. (the red Zed next to mine last time you were there)

yup, but at least there is a point to it. What makes me laugh is when I hear a car revving like a ******* up the road yet they are only going 30-40 mph pmsl I only drive the Zed hard on country roads I know or dual carraigeways, around town it's pimping time, what's the point of flying around in a Zed? No-one would see you!! The chavscum I'm talking about are the ones that speed around crowded town centres and one way systems, funny as fook!
