Poor guy... I wouldn't be seen dead driving that... Unless someone has done it as a Joke and put his car up on E-bay with some photoshopping done... Those two Red lights look like they came out of a traffic light :smash:

auto v manual, have you owned both?
I have owned both. My last Zed was a Manual, now I have an Auto. Like has already been said, one is not better than the other, it's personal preference and what you want from the Car. I bought an Auto as I do a lot of Town driving, and it's my Daily Drive. There can be no doubt that a Manual gives you more satisfaction when you drive it well round the Twisties, and a the BOV's will sound the nuts on the gearchanges. However, I think the Auto box is fantastic, you have lots of adjustment, ie. Power and Hold, 1,2 and D, Overdrive on or off etc. So you can switch it to how you feel like driving. It is much easier to drive, and let's you do other things with your left hand (handy for those long drives with the wife in the car lol). But seriously, out of the two that I have owned, I prefer an Auto. For me as it is right now that suits what I need the car for. Cruising around, not too fast as no-one can see you while you are tearing about lol Sounds on, T-Tops off, brilliant effortless Style. No crunching gears, slipping clutches, bogging down. Oh and that feeling of Kickdown with OD off on the A roads is something else  I prefer Auto. Now later on down the line once I've got it looking exactly how I want it, then I'll go down the tuning route, and I will most likely end up getting a Conversion done. But that's the good thing, don't let the gearbox type dictate what you buy, as you can always have it converted later on down the line. That's my honest answer :)

Hello
Hi... Darkside: For people who feel depressed that their black Zeds are slower, and generally inferior in every way to any other colours. Particularly Red, and Blue. Said group then formed a cult who burn Red and Blue things sitting round a fire at midnight, eerily chanting "I like it Black really, I like it Black really" while wearing Ripped Clown costumes. Yup, they are a strange bunch... ;)

New Horns
Another thing, where do you get louder horns from? None of my local car places have 'em, not even Halfords!

Has anyone tried to fit...
Yeah I was thinking of that. But to keep costs down I wanted to try and use the equpipment I already have got ove rmy last three cars. By far the best sounding was my Focus Estate (yeah I know but there was a good reason lol). That had the four 6x9's I want to use and two 12" Subs in a bandpass box. The 6x9s weren't even amped, they were plenty loud enough with the Alpine's amp on the headunit. And the box was obviously amped with a Black Widow. This sounded feckin excellent, and suited the sort of music I listen too. Previous to that I had a set of components up front and 6x4s in the back with the same subs and head unit, and I didn't like it as much. So I'm going by my own ears experience. My brain is telling me to get components up front, but my heart is saying 6x9's lol. And if I listened to my brain I wouldn't have 1 300ZX in the first place pmsl I'll let you know what I decide, it's being done today and thankyou everyone for your input, appreciated as always! Jon.

Has anyone tried to fit...
Cool guys, yeah I've been studying that site previously. But I really wanted to get them in the rear panels next to the seats. Hmmm. Looks like I'll have to give up on that then. I'm thinking of a false floor, then mounting the Sub and amp on a sort of shelf, with it being able to lift up and slot the T-tops in. Then I can incorporate the 6x9's into that shelf. hmmm. I'll keep thinking. It's deffo a challenge getting a decent ICE setup in a Zed and still having somewhere to put the bloody T-tops isn't it? lol

Loving Zeds again
Yup, I totally agree

Has anyone tried to fit...
6X9s in the rear quarter panels? Any idea whether they would go in or not? I reckon they'd sound excellent firing in the car like that with the natural angle. I've seen components in there, but I have 4 6x9s lying around and I really want to get them in by hook or by crook lol Anyone have any idea if they would go? Is there room? Thanks : )

Don't worry it's in good hands, sound system going in on Wednesday, 18's being delivered on Friday, going to Baggins on 28th for that gauge to be fitted, up the boost and chip[ed, can't wait :hyper: Get yourself another one! Quick before you change your mind! I did and haven't regretted it!
