I got another Zed :) Missed having one too much ;) Chunk slaughtered a 'Liner at Santa Pod which I saw first hand, he's a local hero now lol Welcome back :hyper:

So we both turn up in our Zeds, 2 in each car, had a great drive up there with the roof off both our cars. Get into Southend and the fronts blocked off, turns out it's the organised meet they do every month. So we turn left at the Kurzel and head into the first car park on the right. We're both looking for spots when this guy walks straight past all the other motors in front of us and says "do you want to put your motor in the show mate?" I said "I dunno I've got a couple of things I want to do to it first, is it good enough?" " He looks at me in shock and says - "Yeah mate it's a Zed! You gotta put the Nissan in!" (I shit you not) So I take his entry pass thing, and my mate in my Old Zed takes one too, and we get guided through the police blockade and park up, no sooner had we parked up a crowd had gathered, so we pop the bonnets to comments like "holy shit", and now that's an engine", "I want one of those", "What is it" "oooh nice" PMSL! I couldn't believe it, here we were in the middle of all these massively modified cars, and we're pulling a serious crowd! How proud did I feel? :D I took some video of the meet, and some of the drive up and the way back, absolutely brilliant night, played a bit of Quaser, had a go on some the Arcades, and talked to LOADS of people about the Zed, who all praised it in every way. Also met Jonce and his lovely wife, had a nice chat with them, hope to see you both again soon! All in all a fantastic night, friendly atmosphere, got on with everyone, hardly any chavs about anywhere, which was amazing, and most welcome ;) Next month lets get some more down and get even bigger crowds ;) We were the only two Zeds in the show, and we didn't see a single other one neither on the way there, while we there, or on the way back. (No Jonce your's didn't count, we didn't see it lol) Now that's cool. Individualism. Try it, you might just like it lol Anyway, off to bed now feeling on top of the world, damn I love this car and the culture :) Night! zzzz

I love that show, the things they do are totally wild, although I wouldn't hand my Zed over to 'em that's for damn sure :p

I know I know, but I can't help going just to see the little chav's faces, it makes them so happy to see a Zed... lol We're (4 of us) are going down in a couple of Zeds tommorow night for a laugh, we wanted to see whether red or blue is fastest anyway and can't wait till May 22nd, so there's a nice bit of road on the way to Southend to see how quick we can get up to the national speed limit ( cough ;) ) so thought what the hell, may as well seeing as we're gonna go that way... I know there are a few Zeds down there and wondered if anyone was about to meet up and have a nose at your pride and joy's etc. Let us know if you're gonna be about and maybe we can arrange an impromptu meet :) Hoping to get some more good video footage as well, so will post that up if I ever work out how to compress the bloody files lol And yes before you ask I will be taking a burberry cap just in case the Chav's turn on me, I can say "no silly chav, do not strike me with your tiny little fist, for I am one of you" I need more beer

I do like the Pacifics, great price for 19's too... might be tempted by a set of these next year, the more I look at them the more I like 'em

After owning one without and then buying my current one already fitted with HIDs, it could be the difference between an emergency stop or a smashed up Zed, the difference is astronomical. £200 to save your life? Worth it I reckon ;)

Yup, bits to fit is New Aerial, although if I'm honest with myself this won't be for a while yet lol and Mesh for the '99 front which is gonna be done soon. Alpine head unit 4 6x9's 4 Components 3 Amps 2 12" subs + box 1 15" sub + box But although I have all that stored in the spare room, accumulated over the last year or two with different cars I most likely won't be fitting it, because there's no room! lol Not for a while anyway, want to save for a pro install and incorporate as much of it as I can in the Zed. I want to get some good 1/4 mile times in first anyway ;)

This is a brilliant way of putting it :bow: Looks Power 180mph+ 0.60 5 secs RWD Comfort Gadgets Sound I could go on This car has it all, it just so happens to be bloody good at everything and master of quite a few things as well. Remember, no matter how good you think something is, something out there is always better in a certain aspect. Try putting said MR2/hot hatch behind a lorry in 3rd gear at 55mph and try and overtake it, before the other little toys have even got going the Zed will be past it and flying off, this is real world useability we're talking about here, it just happens to be pretty damn good at 1/4 mile as well ;) The fact that it's drop dead gorgeous is a bonus as well :bow:

GO AND SIT IN THE CORNER!!! :slap: :rofl: My old Zed was a Manual, highish miles, only mod was twin exhaust, and on his second try (my mate who now owns it) he got 14.3 Sunday just gone. I'm sure it would do less as both times his reaction was near a second and he got crap starts... these things get better the more you do it... :)

I take it you never smoked in the Zed.. it doesn't smell of fags... or was it only with the tops off ;)
