Boxhill to Brighton anyone? 5th or 12th August?
Sorry guys me emails alerts, for some reason have been going into my Spam folder, so only just catching up on this. I will put a few other dates forward, as I will be collecting my car on the 4th August, and would love to have a run out in the Z, before the Summer ends.

Simply Japanese 2018
Right guys, I received an update form the Events team at Beaulieu yesterday regarding entry etc. see below. At the bottom of the this post is the 'Z Club' label that needs printing off and displayed on your dashboard/windscreen. Good Afternoon, Please find attached your club sign to be printed and put in the windscreen of your vehicle, please send this on to all members attending as this sign is to help marshals direct members to the correct area. Please note that this is not the entrance ticket and purely a signage label. Tickets can be purchased on our website, over the phone (there is a £1 handling fee for phone bookings), or on the day – however ticket prices do increase on the day of the event. Entry is from 8am, please do not arrive before this time as you will be turned away, all club members must arrive by 3pm. You are free to leave the event anytime throughout the day after 11am, however there will be no re-entry once the vehicle has departed. There will be two entrances as this is a very busy event, please follow signage, the club does not need to arrive in convoy as they will be directed to the clubs reserved area - so do use both entrances. Please pass on to all your members to leave Beaulieu in a sensible fashion; there are animals and pedestrians that we need to keep safe. If unruly behaviour and exiting happens at the event then this will jeopardise repetition of the event occurring in the future. So please do take this request seriously. Looking forward to this great event again! :) Z Club Club Label.pdf

15mm Hubcentric wheel spacers x2
Just wondered if anyone had a pair of these sitting, unwanted in their garage, before I look at ordering a new set.

Advice on Maintaining polished aluminium alloys
Is that what you use Si? I had been reading up on ceramic coatings altough for bodywork rather than wheels. Sounds like good stuff, not sure I would put in on my bodywork however as it seems take a lot of effort to keep it in top condition. Should be easier on the wheels though.

Rear calipers and brake disks
Having a clear out of the Zed spare, and came across these. I removed these from my car, when I fitted my big brake upgrade. (18 months ago.?) They were working perfectly, the pads still have a lot of material on them as you will see from the photo. Still attached to the s/steel brake line that I will through in with the deal. The brake disks, have a lot of life in them and still, with a 1mm lip on the outer edge, the surface rust will be an easy job to remove. Would prefer collection due to the weight/size of items. Postage will be extra at buyers expense.

Advice on Maintaining polished aluminium alloys
Thanks for all the tips Joel..... especially the one about polishing them on the car :whistling: not so sure I’m brave or mad enough to try that out

Advice on Maintaining polished aluminium alloys
Looking for people’s thoughts on the following, and real world exeperinces. My new set of Equip wheels are currently finished in silver anodise. With 2 of the wheels needing a refresh, and two needing two new lips for the rears to fill the arches, I can either have them all anodised again, which will give me a relative easy time when it comes to cleaning and maintaining them. Alternatively have them highly polished and stock up on wheel wax and elbow grease!

What did you do to your zed today?
New set of wheels arrived today from JDM Distro. Many thanks to Richie K for all his help with these. The condition/quality of the wheels is really good and exactly as I was expecting them to be. I will be keeping the 9J x18 et+22 for the fronts, and have them refurbished. The 8x18 (et +22) will be going away to have new barrels and lips, to make them wider :thumbup1: The colour scheme is still up in the air though, until I see them with the new paint job on the car.

Ev300zx
Having recently taken a PHEV as my company car, I have on occasion already had near misses when reversing out of the company car parking space, and nearly running into a colleague. A friend of mine nicknamed them ‘cat killers’ ...... having three cats of my own, I know what he means, as they no longer shoot out from under the car, when I start it up.

Toyota Supra twin turbo
I have always always liked the Supra () and did seriously consider a manual UK spec some years ago, but they were already at very strong prices then. Would I pay 20k for my Z now? That’s a hard one as I (we, on here) are obviously biased. I think that I would knowing the serious offers that others have had on their cars recently.
