  1. Any more takers for this event guys? I need to finalise attendees numbers with the Beaulieu event team by the end of this week!
  2. Come over young padawan
  3. All fixed last night guys. I ended up carefully sanding off a small part of the needle to give the necessary clearance from the Titanium ring. Thanks for everyone’s input
  4. It looks much better now they have smoothed in the panels. JP I prefer the type 3 spoiler design, and I would have a type 3 bumper on mine now, but they cannot seem to keep up with the ‘supply & demand’ on their parts, and I couldn’t wait forever for them to come back into stock. It’s a shame as I don’t think there will ever be a European distributor. Gaz, I will be making an under tray for the front bumper, as even with a black diamond mesh in the centre opening, you can still see road surface, which doesn’t look great
  5. Jeff, I had to sand down the outer edge of the ring to get it to fit into the opening. It certainly didn't need any glue. I will take it all apart and see whats the best solution. Thansk for the info on NOT removing the needles.
  6. Thanks for all the useful info guys. The rings will be staying, as the two small ones will not come out without a fight, plus i really like them. Does the 'needle' just pull out? so I can just carefully sand down the needle to give a bit of clearance?
  7. Pretty sure they 'snapped' in ok Andrew, as I did initially have an issue with the illumination around the dials, so doubled/tripled checked the connections. I have ordered one of these now, as I did not like being reliant on the OEM gauge, and I had previously removed the other DEFI gauges from my 'A' pillar. https://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p/spa-volts-water-temperature-dual-gauge-spa-dg204 A bit more work to do now before the AGM.
  8. I did indeed Gaz.
  9. Hi, hoping someone can help with this, as I don't fancy driving to the AGM this weekend with a fubard temp gauge. The other day i took the binnacle out to add a set of titanium rings to the instrument cluster. I noticed this morning on my drive to work that the temp gauge sits a 1/4, even when the car is switched off, and didn't move, during the 16 mile commute. Could it be that i just need to reset the needle to its resting point? Any pointers greatly received, thanks guys.

  12. Sorry to hear this Chris. The registration at the bar, was not there last year. I cannot remember who pointed it out to me, whilst were waiting to be served. Sorry that i didn't mention it to you. I would definitely appeal it, given we have photographic evidence that we patrons, of their establishment.
  13. Looks stunning Andrew!
  14. Welcome Dazzler123, GLW your search I am sure you will find a good project Z. Guys am I the only one on here that wants to see a restored Carlos Saint, I very nearly bought one of these some years ago, cracking cars, and similar to the Z in my mind that they never seemed to be valued in the same vain, as all the Supras and Skylines etc. Given their rally pedigree, I hope they have increased in price now Dazzler? Please post some pictures when you get time :cool3:
